Erical,
I don't have the template used to install mine; however, I got mine from:
Drew Geffon
Email: [email protected] ( if still current)
Ordered Kit# Vsk-60 (60 pound)
He may be willing to send you a template, don't know.
Later,
Re: Stock 18
mad...,
If the wheels from JUCD VPR don't work out, contact JonB at Parts Rack. I got mine a few years ago from him, and they were new take-offs.
Later,
V10SpeedLuvr,
You know, I have never changed mine without it being on jack stands, suspension hanging, so I really don't know. I use the ramps to drive up on so I can get my "not so low profile" jack under the front. My ramps are only 2 - 2X10's high + a 1/2 inch runner attached to the bottom...
V10SpeedLuvr ,
Yes, build your own. Mine are not quite as elaborate as the ones snampro built, but are from 2 X 10's.
Yes, getting the oil filter out without taking an oil bath is challenging, to say the least. What I do is poke a hole in the filter, I have rigged up a funnel to catch the...
Adam,
Speaking of ENZO, have you watched my Track Day Video chasing a Enzo, and 360??
Either link will get the video.

Later,
It depends on the host club like luk said.
I ALWAYS use the hardtop, and that is sufficient. I also use it, as opposed to open, as the car is much 'slicker' at high speeds.
Brian,
Your first track day at Thunderhill, and you mentioned Reno, are these tracks somewhat close to you??
Go online to these track sites and look at their schedules, and see what car clubs are hosting track days at these tracks; Porsche, BMW, ALFA, Corvette, and other Sports car clubs...
Since you are looking at a '94, I assume you are looking for a RT/10 (convertible, if you will)? Look, if at all possible, at a Gen 2 ('97 and newer). At the very least find a '96 RT/10 which has Gen2 suspension, OBD ll computer, but has a GEN 1 engine. If looking at any Gen 1 ('96 RT/10 and...
Tom, that's OK, I wasn't going to order one anyway.
Did you read my post:
http://www4.forum.viperclub.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB14&Number=722336&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1
about my ignition problem?
What an experience, and the solution was quite by...
Tom,
Thanks for your generous offer, but I'll pass, and continue what I am doing, knowing that I have a LOT of fun at the track. That does look good for a hitch, and when removed, basically can't tell it.
Later,
Almost remember, they were less than $200.00, but that was in March 2004, 2 1/2 years ago.
They get you by, but not really that good for the track. I have a friend with a Z06, and we always go at it at Pacific Raceway, I pull him up the straight at 140+ (he can't close on me), then before...
Tom,
I love the Clutch pedal - next to the brakes, the best mod for driving added to the car. As you know, mine (due to error - but I love it) is even shorter.
Brian,
SS brake lines: If your car is available to be "tied up" for a while during the winter, I had my lines made by Crown...
Brian,
I have heard the Hawk Pads a really good, although I have never tried them. I use stock pads and rotors, definitely not the best, but definitely not the worst; THEY DO STOP. At the track day mentioned above, there were 3 Vipers from the club, including 2 '96 RT/10's and an '05-06 (not...
Thanks Tom; but driving backwards strengthens your neck muscles. :2tu: :2tu:
Any way, Brian, definitely look into getting the brakes, probably the best track enhancement I have made for my car. :) :)
Brian,
What happens is the calipers apply much more rear brake bias, thus allowing the rear wheels to come into play when stopping. You can actually feel the pull from the rear. You WILL use rear brake pads at maybe the same rate as the front. With stock rears, it takes forever (well...
