Viper ramps?

Are there ramps low profile enough to get a Viper up on? I have the the low profile jack and jackstands, but if I could just drive up on ramps to do oil changes, etc. seems like ramps would be much easier. TIA

yeah, I have some, made them myself (actually for my Corvette). I used 2x10's and some basic wood working tools.

I drive onto my ramps, then jack the rear, and if I need the front in the air I then jack the front

Ahhh crap, nevermind. I just remembered to do my oil changes, the front tire has to be in the air (so it can sag down) and the oil filter can slip b/t the a-arm. I have the Gen 1 engine with Gen 2 suspension which blocks access to the oil filter dropping straight down

Snampro, I built the same ramps for my viper with some scrap 2 x 8's I had. They work like a charm.

Yes, build your own. Mine are not quite as elaborate as the ones snampro built, but are from 2 X 10's.
Yes, getting the oil filter out without taking an oil bath is challenging, to say the least. What I do is poke a hole in the filter, I have rigged up a funnel to catch the filter draining from the hole, and let it drain over night.
Ya, it takes 2 days to do an oil change, but who cares.

I'm not sure about your 96' RT, but with mine the tires have to be hanging in midair so they can sag and I can sneak the oil filter out. Some 96' RT guys say they can get their filter out easy and others report the same problem I have So I'll just continue to use the low profile jack and jack stands that I have.

You know, I have never changed mine without it being on jack stands, suspension hanging, so I really don't know. I use the ramps to drive up on so I can get my "not so low profile" jack under the front. My ramps are only 2 - 2X10's high + a 1/2 inch runner attached to the bottom to drive on first to keep from just pushing the 2X10's.
Try the overnight drain, you will like it.

a little tip. in the hardware section of Lowe's, around the casters, velcro and misc. stuff, I found rubber pads that had adhesive on one side. I cut them into strips and put them on the bottom of my ramps, also securing them with a short nail or two. this, combined with the natural weight of the wood ramps, keeps them from sliding as I approach them.

snampro, Thanks for the detailed photos with diagram which includes measurements. Looks easy enough when its all laid out. The only way you could have made this simpler is if you would have included materials. But many thanks for the plans.

I bought some cheap Rhino Ramps for my Z06. They work just as good with the Viper, although it takes a few minutes longer to get the car on the ramps.

I finally gave up and usually jack the car up now. The back will come up just by jacking up one side.

My low profile quick jack is low enough to get under one side of the front, then I stick a second jack under the other side after it's up a little.

I still use my old steel ramps to put under the tires in the front bit by bit as I raise it. Just for security.

Then I slide the flat part of the ramp under the tire once it's high enough.

Seems to be quicker than the ramp routine I had before. Maybe I just needed some ramps as shown above

200 bucks for RACE ramps, OUCH!!!! I picked up the Rhino ramps for 39 bucks and they work great for my 06 coupe

I have these ramps, which also turn into a lift. I park my Viper or my Ford GT on them every day. You can drive right onto them not wood or blocks, with the tranny out you can sit underneath the car to bolt up a clutch, no more laying down.
