We just use a 3 ft 2X10 as an extension and when we go to load jack the trailer nose up as high as you can with it attached to the truck it cuts the arc down and the Viper travels in easily.
Having brake fade in 2 laps has probably nothing to do with your stock setup. Sounds like you are way too much on the brakes. Try using a good pad (new at track events) use a good 600 degree brake fluid, and maybe some in car instruction.....it sounds like you are heavy and too long on the...
I think every VCA president should have had first shot at a 2003 car. They put in countless hours to the VCA ....all for free. So if they get a car first, thats great. A little recognition is not in order???
What else can people cry about?....
Im here in Pennsauken NJ. Anyone is always welcome to our new shop as we prepare for the World Challenge GT series for 2003! Look us up at WWW.MJHRACING.COM.
If looking for a great Helmet painter look up Moes Helmets. He does a great job and has lots of helmets on his website. I just ordered my 2nd helmet from him and he can supply helmets usually cheaper that you can buy them direct.

Pete and Nort put together some fun ITS porsche's in an arrive and drive car and this is a great amount of seat time.n Would have loved to see another 24 hour event.
We may be there debuting in the Speed World Challenge GT event. If everything is ready and testing complete on the new tires we will be in the WCGT series, for the season opener.
We look forward to once again having a Viper competing in pro racing, and would be great to see some VCA members...
Achilles.
You said the fronts locked up....Is that just one time? Did maybe you just stand on the pedal way too long? Ususally that is why fronts lock up, we tend to be too heavy footed if we take into a corner too fast ....
What brake setup is on your car? What pads do you run? Many times...
Gavin...
What pistons are you running in the PBR's? Also eliminate the dust boots if you road race.
Ps: Some people I think should use the throttle more and the brakes less and maybe there brake systems would work...LOL
Gavin,......
Just went thru this problem with our car. The problem we found was nothing with the calipers. The Bias control and the rear brake lines were starting to weaken and collapse. The minute we disconnected the bias control the brakes worked fine. We found that our 4 piston Brembo front...
Yes, Wheel Collision does a great job......I think the last ones we did were around $ 175 per rim to have done. That was having the edges repaired and chromed.
Re: We\'ve got more thieves to catch!
Forget the jail time....How about sending them to China and let them dole out the ol fashion sentencing...CUT THEIR HANDS OFF! BET THEY DON'T STEAL ANYTHING THEN!!!
Definitely sad to see Bobby who is such a great help to all Viper owners getting ripped off...
Phil,
What spring rates are in your car? This is what most swerious racers change the most depending on the track and your driving style. Remember that softer springs are more forgiving as a car with a stiffer suspension requires more finess.
Shocks are the next question. What type? Setting...
Using silica sand, a very course grit in paint and thinking it will wear as long as epoxy is absurd. Paint is about only 10% solid content...the rest is liquid while most high end epoxies are usually 100% solids. Using silica sand is way to abrasive, and will be extremely hard to clean. We use...
