Alright thanks a lot for your help! I just checked and mine is most definitely red in color.
Are both of these the same fluid then since they both say MS-9602 even though one says Power Steering +4 and the other says ATF +4?
The one from mopar is half the price...
Hi Steve-Indy,
This is kind of an old post but was hoping you could give some clarification on this one. My service manual for my 2006 coupe tells me to use "Mopar Power Steering Fluid MS5931. Transmission fluid should not be used in the power steering"
But from your above post it sounds...
Thanks man, I went ahead and got this Suction Gun instead since it is $13 from Amazon.
That's the only fluid I am going to let the dealership change is the Coolant so I will leave that to them.
Will prolly not get this stuff until next week so maybe try to do it next weekend if I have...
What year? Mine is 2006.
You wouldn't happen to have a link to the fluids you purchased would you, or maybe a screenshot of your receipt or something?
I am having a fun time searching http://www.mopardealerparts.com/ for the correct fluids.
Mopar DOT 4 brake fluid (7.5 oz) -- Genuine Mopar...
Alright I will definitely look into doing most of this myself. I didn't think it was too hard but I was wanting everything to be done for the first time with a Viper tech but I guess this stuff is not very hard and they are overcharging.
So maybe I will do like you said with clutch/brake and even power steering can probably be done with turkey baster, I did that on my BMW. Just pull it out with a turkey baster, refill it with new, run it for a while and do it again to get most of the old out.
What about coolant though...
Yea I found several sidewinders for sale on Ebay but then I noticed they have a lip on them and are not the same as mine which do not have a lip and the spoke goes all the way to the end of the wheel.
Need a rear OEM wheel for a 2006.
Part number: 05290868AA
I found a brand new one for $994 here: http://www.moparpartssource.com/p/DODGE__VIPERConvertible/WHEEL/42252187/05290868AA.html
Is that pretty much the price I am looking to pay? There were none on ebay, they only had the sidewinder...
I was just trying to shift like this and I find it hard to not do the pistol grip with a circular sphere shifter knob, I might have to look into a different shifter knob.
I am new as well (got mine in April) and I have found a lot of parts here below. I am sure some veterans can give you some more sites as well.
And congrats man!!! I'm loving mine!!

Awww man, my eyes got really huge when I read you fixed it! And as I continued to read you crushed my dreams!
I will try this same thing as soon as I get my wheels back on and get the car off jacks and see if I have more luck.
Yea I would HOPEEEE that a mostly non-electronic car would not have any issues when a battery is disconnected. My BMW has to go have the better registered and crap when I install a new one, I recently did that and found that to be kind of retarded.
Damn man, I am a little upset none of that is working for you! I haven't had time to try to program the window again but hopefully it will work though doesnt sound like it will :(
Here's a dumb question... Do I need to buy 2 sets of these toe link supports or are these only needed for your rear? Every article I have read was referring to the rear knuckles being the weakpoint and I don't remember ever reading anything about the front knuckles needing this toe link support...
Just received my front plate holder for 06 coupe.
Do you drill holes where my finger is pointing in order to screw the license plate on?
Also, as you can see in this pic, when I move both pieces as close together as I can the plate holes do not line up unless I bend one of the holders...
