    University Dodge - Clutch Problem

This is new to me. Anybody else ever have a problem with the pedal not going down? Usually a bad slave means the pedal falls, is floppy, or won't come up. And given that it is a leg pushing, it must really be stuck.

    Another one bites the dust.

Not original wheels, so at least not XGTZs. I'll vote for the PS1s, but MXX3 middle treads had identical rows around and the one in the lettuce field looks like the center one is thinner... maybe PZero?

    University Dodge - Clutch Problem

Just want to understand the issue here - the pedal was stuck in the up position?

    Tire age...

Before we get all wound up, let's examine the data. 159 incidents from 100,000,000 vehicles on the road in the US that average 15,000 miles per year. And those accidents were with "well used" tires that had documented tread and belt separations; structural failures that would seem unrelated to...

What is Tape used for Protection at Track

The typical blue painters tape comes in two "strengths". The weaker one has a pink color on the cardboard tube it is rolled up on. Available at Home Depot/Lowes... I never looked until I pulled some freshly applied paint off the wall.

Freakin' Squeakin' Soft Top on RT

I forgot exactly how, but the keys that latch into the windshield frame can be adjusted for the depth they hang. It might be just adding washers, but I do remember it was a simple job with hand tools. I"m old and forgot, but at least mine didn't squeak. Anyone want to buy a non-squeaking...

    the turning circle sucks

Look up how the steering of a drift car is modified - a significant feature is to increase the angle the front wheels are able to turn.

Water/Methanol - Does it go bad?

Yes, that should work. SG of MeOH is 0.79, water of course is 1.0.

If you are taking big turns, it's like this: JUN SUPRA Drifting on Yahoo! Video and for tight turns, it's like this:

rubber elbows on valve covers-Gen 2

For my '94 it was a dealer item. Part listing (download in Illustrated Guide forum) shows in '94 it was available as a separate item but 01 listing it is part of the "crankcase ventilation harness".

According to the parts manuals (available in the illustrated guides section) the 97 and 01 hoods have different part numbers.

    3 Piece Hard Top Special

I hope you find a hardtop, but if you do have to settle for a softtop, I have one from my '94. It's in very good condition - no holes, tears, or cosmetic issues. Comes with carry bag. If you start looking for softtops, make sure you understand which model years it fits, since the pins that...

    Black is back!

By popular demand, black brake covers are going to be available again around February 18. To get them as soon as possible, you may put your name on the list at Contact or Purchase or Rear Brake Caliper Cover - 92-00 - Roe Racing Red ones will still be free with caliper purchase while they...

    factory exhaust

Hey, your OEM exhaust has a flex connection? My '94 came with aftermarket, but even so there was no flex pipe. I always thought Gen 1 didn't get flex pipe because the connection at the manifold could swivel on the large doughnut. Here's a picture of the manifolds and exhaust pipe, then the...

    Heat/Overheat Problem

Cutting open the driver's speaker hole does allow a lot of heat to excape; I can see the heat waves rising when stopped, but it's having the fan running that pushes the air through. So I would say at speed it allows more flow; at stop not nearly a help unless the fan(s) is/are capable. The...

Remove Gen II Cats... Effect on Oxygen Sensor?

The way the system is supposed to work, the CEL should come on if the downstream O2 sensors don't signal that the oxygen level varies in some relationship (and not 1:1) to the upstream signal. You can reset it, but should come on again and again. I guess this isn't always true. The engine...

    factory exhaust

I think it is all aftermarket. The factory system had a two-bolt flange with gasket to connect the cast manifold to the down pipe. The down pipe was one piece and included the elbow to the cat; your picture looks there is a short adapter to connect the two-bolt flange to a three-bolt flange. I...

    RT/10 Brakes

Yes, it's direct and they look the same, so if you are going to put them down side by side, mark them! I swapped for the Gen 2 version (can use Gen 1 master cylinder) because one fell into my lap, but I already had different calipers on the rear (maybe still 38mm or early 40mm) and can't...
