Anybody move from 17" to 18" wheels for tire cost and availability; not appearance?
Over the years I've accumulated 17" rims and tires and because I have a tire machine, it's no big deal to switch, flip side to side, or replace tires. But before looking for the next set I'm asking for opinions and experience from anyone that moved to 18" wheels just because they found 18" tires...- Tom F&L GoR

Please help me determine if I have tranny problem.
Did your fellow Viper owner friend have any problems? When you say you tried "going slow from 1st to 5th gear, hm no problem" did you mean 1-2-3-4-5 or 1-5? Same about 1-6; is that 1-2-3-4-5-6 or 1-6? When RPMs are high it takes longer and a harder push to downshift because you are trying to...- Tom F&L GoR

I must add that one unanticipated improvement has been cockpit noise. Having a hard roof and hard windows has greatly cut down on road, tire, etc noise. Gen 1 Seat in a Gen 2? Or, different seats? Help!
What are "seat belt guides in the center of the car?" My Gen 1 was built for the Canadian market. Need leaking Gen2 OE radiator for project
Dave, I have a Gen 1 radiator. Soon after I bought the car (1998) I could see that the soldering holding the side tank to the "plate" with the many slots (that allow flow into the finned tubes) was leaking. Um, not sure what you mean by reference. (But thanks!) I know the brother that drives the Viper with the new A/C. Maybe we know the same guy? The parts list would be an excellent addition to the Illustrated Upgrades, even if it is just a list and not a how-to. Hint, hint.- Tom F&L GoR
