    At 2 1/4 inches of ground clearance, I haven't found a jack to suit my car. I just use a couple homemade 2x12" pieces of wood ramps and then a standard floor jack.

    Wow... that's horrible to hear! When I've had the opportunity to drive my car, I've never witnessed anything bad happen to it. I do my best to keep it in sight when I take it out, but there have been times where watching it was impossible. Thankfully, no harm has been done.

    Yes, I saved the oil and filter. They will be joining my motor when it's finally taken back to the machine shop (who knows when...still trying to work with the installation shop). A low profile jack won't even help me. My front jacking point is 2.25" off the ground. My car is low!

    This is interesting... The shop just admitted to only putting in 9qts of Valvoline 20w50 VR1, but isn't the oil capacity 10.4qts? And to add to the irony, only 7qts were drained after only 600 miles when I changed the oil Friday night. The car never smoked and there were no leaks. As of now...

    I finally got my Viper back!

    2 weeks and 600 miles later, the motor spun another rod bearing Saturday night. All my aftermarket parts (KWs, wheels/tires, K&N intake, Belanger headers) will be up for sale soon if anyone is interested. The last picutre (and only picture) I took of the car since I got it back...Friday night.
