Yeah... after figuring out the first shock, the rest was a breeze. Compressing the springs is the longest/most labor intensive part. There was very little room in between the springs to get the clamps of the spring compressors on.
It was SO much easier changing out my shocks when I installed...
I had the same problem figuring it out when I first lowered my car. Shops also quoted me $40-60 a shock to decrompress the springs WITH the shocks already off the car.
During my rebuild, I'm having headwork done and doing an aftermarket cam. I already have an intake, Belanger headers, and exhaust. I'll top it all off with a tune to tie the whole build together. I was wondering what the synopsis is regarding aftermarket throttle bodies? I'm thinking of trying...
Funny...I've been dealing with the same problem. I got a new battery hoping that would fix the issue, but it did not. Sometimes the hesitation is so bad that it will reset my radio presets and odometer trip.
Whenever I get my car back, I can measure my offsets of my 19"/20" Modulare Forged wheels. I'll measure the space between the spoke and the caliper and can determine what offset you can run without crazy camber.
Disclaimer: it may be another 2 months before I have my car back, haha
STILL waiting for a quote. All main/rod bearings are damaged due to previous debris and not enough oil. The crank is also cracked. Diagnosis was oil starvation and debris in the oil pump that wasn't changed.
I bought some decals from the link above and they have held up so far...granted it was only 600 breakin miles. With my black car and black wheels, I did black lettering in the OEM red calipers. They look pretty darn good!
Tim, can you make a vinyl for the 3rd brake light? I'd like one in black...
I'm selling my 19"x10"/20"x13" Modulare Forged M15s with Nitto Invos with only 600 breakin miles (never saw over 3500 rpms) on them if you're interested.
