What's in the touring package? Don't want nav. I just use my phone. I can only imagine phone nav will just get better and better. Pretty happy with my gen IV acr for now. Will wait to see what the new acr is. Jealous of u guys getting gen Vs though. Amazing vehicles. One of my investors has a...
Yeah, well get over it! :) If it keeps the Viper alive and kicking I'm all for it. Also, Ralph made it very clear that he loves manual cars. He loves shifting his own gears. The Dual Clutch or some other kind of manu-matic (single clutch version like the LFA) will not be the only option in...
Ralph all but said it will be an option. Time to come to terms with it. Life, cars, and technology move on. The good news is there are a lot of barely driven older cars to buy if even the OPTION of a dual clutch makes the car unpurchasable. Personally, I find that attitude a bit silly.
Ralph hinted at that but said the car will be available with a manumatic at some point in another video. It's a packaging issue at this point. It sounded like the car will always have a manual but will have another option at some point. My guess the acr will have an automated manual.
Got up close and personal with the car last night. It looks great to me, no complaints. The LEDs look nice. The car looks more refined in all aspects when compared to my acr. It was kind of dark, but to me the front and hood (both versions) look good to me. Very solid effort and no one would...
Torque is interesting but I've had the very opposite if this car: Honda s2000 and enjoyed it very much. It's HP/torque ratio was very different than the viper but still very enjoyable. I personally prefer NA vehicles.
Also, high revving doesn't necessarily mean the torque is low, just low...
A smaller, higher revving DOHC V10 would be fine with me too. The carerra GT has one of the most amazing engine notes I've ever heard in a street car. It's sounds world's better then my acr.
absolutely. I see their comments as just good fun. we give them **** about their terrible teeth and food, but we love em. they take as well as they give.
dealers don't care what nada or kbb have to say. they want to give you wholesale or lower especially for a car they aren't sure they can move quickly. after 90 days those cars start to really hurt their bottom line. kbb shows you want you to see. what a dealer or set of dealers give you is...
I wouldn't put too much thought into these awards. I don't know how this one works exactly, but I know companies have to pay for their intellichoice awards. I would imagine these sort of awards are much the same.
Just go buy a Gen IV then. Why do you think you should of gotten all the stuff for $100k? Find me one other car with the performance envelope of the viper and with an interior like this car for $100k. Then, add in how easy they are to work on and how affordable most consumables are, minus...
+1. I often drive my acr to work though. Kids love it and people seem to get a kick out of it. I put almost 8000 miles on it last year and I have another much more sensible car I can drive. The viper is just a lot more fun.
A gtr is going to do 0-60 faster more often then not. It has more...
200 miles? When I bough my acr the check engine light came on as I was driving through New Mexico from Texas on my way to calif. it was just some crappy gas that caused an o2 sensor to malfunction. I needed a new one all covered under warranty.
You could get it serviced at any authorized set...
