They bypassed the carousel and did a "shortcut" early T11... Looks like there was a little concern from SRT over the ability of the journalists to stay off the walls

No, they used the IRL track. The Nascar track uses the first 2/3rd's of what's in that video. NASCAR runs the short straight, hard right to the full esses, down to the right kink and ******* the brakes through the carousel.

Wow, they have really destroyed that track. I used to race AFM in the early 90's when it remained a very technical, challenging track. The NASCAR bypass the driver took in this video is a joke. The plethora of fugly outbuildings & grandstands - pathetic.
