yeah, i picked the car up there and drove it back with my creative director. we stayed the night there and hit some of the local bars, etc. I really like austin....been there 4-5 times. I lived in Houston for 3 years or so a few years back.
eh, who needs an ebrake ;). I'm digging the GA3R viper version. Seems like some pretty sweet race wheels and still look great. I will have to do some more digging, thanks.
edit:
or just the standard GA3 is probably better (for mostly street occasional track car), but either is pretty awesome
I daily drive it that's why so many miles. i wish i could get it to the track more often, but that's not something I have time for right now. Good luck on your search.
I could maybe be talked out of mine if someone knows of a good track/street replacement? I am not a huge fan of the...
The guy i bought my acr from didn't like the 5 spokes either so he put the 6 spokes from the standard viper on it. it looks pretty good i think. Good luck.
Can you post some picts of you car?
Mine doesn't seem to be related to up and down movement. When starting from a stop even if I go extremely slow I hear this squeal coming from the rear passengers side. I have a few things to try and will do them and report back. thanks.
edit: at one point it seemed to be related to up and...
edit:(more of a squeal then a squeak, but everything else is accurate)
I have a 2008 ACR with 14k miles.
It has started making a squeaking noise in the rear when going straight or turning right. I can hear it out the passenger side window when going slowly. It's fairly loud. If I turn left...
If you are worried about what you will look like getting out of you car wearing a suit (who wears a suit anymore anyway. I'm surrounded by multi-millionaires and some billionaires out here and no one wears a suit) the viper, especially the ACR is not for you. it's tough to not look like a dick...
also, a lot of tires start out a year old or more when you buy them. check the DOT date and make sure they haven't been sitting to long. 4-5 years is the absolute max i would give a tire for a honda civic...never on a car like the viper or even worse an ACR. That much stopping and turning...
why are you yelling?
try the search...i'm sure you aren't the first person to ask this question. they probably didn't use all caps and 4 question marks though.
Dodge takes back the record!
Hopefully not a repost. Too bad tomball dodge had to do it and dodge couldn't do it.

Who's the driver?

I second the autozone duralast gold. The factory battery on my 08 tried to leave me stranded in arizona after 2 1/2 years in the austin heat and sweat. I didn't have any choice to be honest...I needed a new battery, but it's been great so far. I've only heard great things about them.
OP, you do realize flooring your car from 20 and shifting gears takes almost no skill. congrats.
And my car is a lot faster then yours so i guess by your logic i just took your manhood.
I assume they will keep going lower for a while, but will begin to increase a few years from now. I don't really care as I plan on driving the crap out of mine and keeping it as long as possible! :)
yeah, mine did a lot more track miles then that before i bought it. Other then baldish tires, thin front rotors and a bad alignment it looked and drove brand new. Once I fixed those three things it's been good as new and was mightily discounted over a new acr. good luck. Also, most track...
how is a supercharged engine for the "die hard viper guys?" The viper became legend for the look, the NA V10 and most importantly for it's dominance in road racing. Much of it's dominance was a direct result of the huge NA engine. The LS9 has overheating issues when run hard on track.
The...
Bought my car site unseen on ebay. I had some experience with the seller on this site and others though. It was a good deal for both parties, imo. good luck.
I never planned on daily driving my viper, but it's hard not too. I picked it up with 8000 miles and it now has over 12000 miles in just over a month.
I drove it 1800 miles from texas to calif. I have done a track day with it and it was 150 miles each way to thunderhill. If it wasn't for the...
I've never had a car with more then 300whp and I have an 08 acr. Other then driving in the rain on old pilot sport cups the car hasn't tried to kill me...yet. I think where you get in trouble is just being an idiot overall, or something like trying to pull out in front of someone who is close...
