Fortunately, he didn't roll it. I think he must of been talking to his instructor and just forgot to turn left until the last second@
it's a long story. it's a california car. it will be registered in calif soon. it actually has texas registration stickers on it, an ohio temp tag, ohio temp registration and a calif temporary registration. But, I'm located in calif and so is it. :)
Porsche's are great, but vipers are just as capable and just cooler, imo. I was out at thunderhill this weekend and everyone wanted to talk about my crazy orange ax-murder. People love the looks of the car.
I'm not the greatest driver in the world, but I enjoy learning and being on track...
almost had a guy run over a child in a gas station while look at my acr. it was almost a terrible situation. the kid should not of been running around the car in what amounts to a parking lot, but the guy was not paying attention.
that looked terrible.
Mine didn't put anyone else in danger, but myself.
I was talking to Ted May while getting my car serviced and he said he won't even take new customers to Inifineon until they do other tracks with him first.
He said it's the most dangerous track he's been on and I assume...
Car is stock and I live in Foster City.
There are a ton of smog places around, but I don't really want to just hand it off to some knucklehead and get a heap of bent metal and carbon fiber back.
Any recommendations of where to get it smogged?
thanks.
Bought mine on ebay. I would check there.

I know for a fact that state farm will cover anything on track that isn't a race. I totaled my evo at Infineon last year and it was 100% covered. They are pretty much the only insurance company left that will cover HPDE events and they don't do it in every state, but they do in California...
OK. So the jack points on the sides of the car behind the front wheels and in front of the back wheels are easy to see. I used those to jack the car up. I then put the jack stands on the frame in the front, no problem. The back seemed harder. It was easy to jack the car up using the jack...
There are a lot of threads talking about how to jack up a GEN III/IV car, but no good close up pictures. The front was easy, but the rear seems very hard. Anyone have close up pictures of exactly where they put the jack stands and how they did it? Some close ups would be mucha appreciated.
