    Let us not forget that we are driving a street legal race car, and not all of us are professional drivers. The temptation to push the envelope is sometimes overwhelming and can have disastrous consequences. BTW some professional drivers have been in accidents, some have died in those accidents...

    There is no right or wrong color it is strictly a personal choice, that said I personally am not a big fan of VR. This is one color that screams out for stripes.

    Lease or Buy new 2008 Viper?

    I got a great deal on my new 06 viper lease but the car was heavily discounted I believe the final negotiated price was 73k, 3k down and $1080/ month for 24 months with 12k/ year mileage. That was in march of 06 and the car sat on dealer floor for months.

    08 Vipers sales seem to be slow....

    I still do not understand why 08,s are made by color and not by orders in hand like every other car. It makes no sense to have cars sitting in dealers showrooms when people who placed orders last summer are still waiting for vehicles.
