This is how I ended up with my current GTS after owning multiple 996 & GTS.
Put an offer in on the GTS. Put an offer in on a 996TT. First one to respond won.
Honestly, the two are so good in totally different ways I couldn't make the decision. The 997.1 is a little quicker than the 996...
I had B&B (x pipe) on my '99 ACR and have the original Mopar (non-merged) on my '00 GTS. The Mopar cracks and burbles MUCH more than the B&B.

I had B&B on my '99 ACR (side mufflers & rear X pipe), sounded really nice but not too loud.
I have Mopar on my '00 GTS (side mufflers & rear straight pipes), much louder than B&B.
High flow cats will open up a lot of noise, cracking and burbling sounds; they will also lower side sill temps...

Jon B gave me a little insight, that fuse powers:
Purge-EVAP cannister;
PCM;
Daytime RL cavity
I'm thinking it's the PCM that's blowing the fuse. Doing some research I've found that o2 sensor wiring can cause this fuse to blow. Does anyone know of any other common reasons for it blowing...
