    So I bought Woodhouse mounts.........

VOI costs money to go to, I haven't gone yet and envious of those who can. I still find being a member has it's benefits otherwise, magazines, access to more online info, etc.. why I keep renewing. Cheers, Mike

    So I bought Woodhouse mounts.........

Hi Holger - My car never saw rain, around 18,000 kms on the odometer, plan to get some new nuts, here were my stock mounts after I removed them, sagging, had to use a big 3/4 drive ratchet to bust the siezed studs, and the mounts had no coating on them like the Woodhouse mounts do. I don't know...

Just a trouble shooting suggestion, pull all the fuses under the clamshell and check for amp draw with a multimeter across each fuse terminal..

    inner fender well removal

That or just put a J-nut on the liner and use a button head socket head cap screw, plus I made a plastic washer for the screw, no need to drill the rivit out next time.... I hate drilling out rivits, can slip, drill can spin the head of the rivit and cause some damage.. Cheers, Mike

Solution to fix popping Gen2 factory subwoofer

My rear center subwoofer speaker was making a popping sound and I didn't want to get an aftermarket speaker if I had to.... especially with an aftermarket grille, so I checked out a local high end home audio shop, they have a technician that comes in to fix speakers, such as replacing the outer...

    What happened to Twister?

Nobody caught on to it, but I intentionally mentioned Hawaii and scissor doors in this silly insane video thinking or attempting to talk like Twister... funny how many people out there thought I was serious.. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/07/28/four-foot-viper-shifter-mod-is-a-head-scratcher/...

Need a little help guys. (battery area)

Wish I had a camera, but I had to take that cover off to get a small feral farm kitty cat that was hiding in our garage, true story... Little buggar ran under the car every time I opened the inside garage door for several days was puzzled where it was hiding, as it ran under the car and...

New floor mats for my 98 RT/10 (pics)

Thank you Holger, that is what I was hoping for, those are just plastic and just thread into the carpet material, my worry was that they had sheetmetal screws that went into floor under the carpet. I'll try them without the clips to see if the drivers side slides forward when I get into the...

2013 SRT Viper pricing to be announced MONDAY

I thought it was cool that the VCA created and is testing out a new section showing the latest Twitter feeds such as from Ralph, I actually like it, there's lots to sift through, but more information is much better than less. http://forums.viperclub.org/forums/319-Twitter-Feeds Thank you VCA &...

Wind the clock forward 5 years, think there will be more used Gen 5 Vipers available?

Just a thought tonight... but historically many were totalled, even right off the dealer's lot due to spinning out into a pole or whatever. Having traction, launch and stability control, the thought being that this may reduce the number of incidents damaging the car, resulting in a higher...

    Gen V Price???

Hindsight quoting myself.... I wasn't too far off and impressed with the pricing that was announced. I'm still wondering if they will offer carbon ceramic brake rotors like on the ZR1 or which can be had as an option on the ZO6? Cheers, Mike

Any news on what us Canadians will get raped on pricing for the new Gen V?

In the past, ya there has been some differences for in pricing in Canada, here's some past comparisons I saved, in Canada the stripes and 2 tone seating were included at no charge, whereas in the US those were additional costs. It all depends on the dollar difference and the package / options...

New floor mats for my 98 RT/10 (pics)

I'm interested, but why are there grommet holes, did they provide some clips that can attach to the floor / carpet? That would be great if they did. Cheers, Mike

2013 SRT Viper pricing to be announced MONDAY

You know, it's a bit annoying that this type of news is broadcasted on a free public twitter site and not taking time to share the news initially on the Viper Club of America who actually pay $ to be a member and at minimum on the Members Only section. Sure at least members had the opportunity...

Sounds like you're describing where the daytime running light module would be attached?, as they were required on cars built for Canada..

GenV design feature that I'm getting tired seeing copied in vehicle designs lately...

Here's an example when automotive companies copy unique body design features (as they historically do..), and I think Audi started the fad decades ago, but was on the Honda NSX, etc.. and earlier BMWs, someone can surely do some google research if interested... It's that flat wheel opening edge...

    Another TC thread

Some things have value Chuck, the FMVSS roof crush requirement is going up to 4 times the vehicle mass, if they keep that up, you won't need a roll bar.. Yet you may not like this other news announced recently eh'... (and I don't): "The rules mean that all new vehicles would have to get an...
