i pull a 17.5 foot featherlite with an X5, just under 5000lbs. it works great but i wouldnt go any heavier. You need a real truck to haul an enclosed trailer.
improved brake cooling
motons
onboard gps track lap timer and data acquisition
stock seats that can properly accomidate the sub straps on a six point harness
steering wheel material for better grip, epecially with nomex gloves
oh yea, and 700hp too
Welcome and congrats!!
10 year old runflats, ouch! Those are going to be dangerous, especially in the cold and wet, be real careful!
Get new tires asap.
Check out the ny/ct forum, we have a pretty active group with lots of events
Look forward to meeting you next season
So what are you going to do with that car? Weekend toy? Garage queen? Track monster? It's almost to beautiful to drive but an ACR needs to rip up the track
I use a featherlite 17.5 foot open aluminum. Nice and light so i can tow it with my SUV. The ramps are pretty long and the trailer gives a decent load angle. I use race ramps under the trailer ramps and have room to spare under my front splitter. I would love an enclosed but for now this is...
Probably a cat efficiency code, the high flow cats can set it off as briangts says above. Just clear that code and if you drive harder it won't come back.

Check how old...
Age of the tire is as important as miles, I wouldn't go past 3 years even with low mileage. They are nasty in the cold. 2 of the 3 spins i had on the track were during ice cold warmup laps and I was going real slow! Below 50 degrees they are hockey pucks.
:omg:

When you own a sports car, you inevitably get a little paranoid about how it's treated when...
NASA's last track event of the season at NJMP Thunderbolt! Who wants to come? Who wants to come drive the crap out of their viper on the track one last time before putting it away for the winter? I will most likely do saturday and sunday if the weather looks good.
Here is the link below to...
Sounds like he was just letting you know he is a car enthusiast also by saying he has a Miata at home.
Also don't assume, for all you know he has a spec Miata at home and can drive rings around most viper owners.
It's tough to find time if you have kids and work a lot of hours, which I'm sure many here do. I go out for cruises once in a while but really only drive on the track now. I can usually go 1 maybe 2 days a month. I think just driving on the street gets boring because you can't really go fast...
