When replacing u-joints, do most of you put stock u-joints back in or is there a heavy duty u-joint that you switch to? Also, what is the best place to buy them?

You're funny. I have stock gears on their on their way now. I figured with your new addition the gears would be the last thing on your mind. I will have a set of 3.55's sitting around! I'm changing the whole rear, so call me if we need to talk.

It sounded like it was IN the rear or drive shaft. It made a sound like a CV joint when it's going bad. It did it a little more tonight on a 3rd gear pull. Could it be my gears or a u-joint??

With 550rwhp or more, 3.55 gears are a negative regardless which type of events you're doing. 1/4 mile requires a 4th-5th shift, on a course you lose it on the longer straights, and the same results on a highway roll.
I currently have 3.55's and hate them. I have the Paxton on my 02 and love it, but when I shift to 5th gear at 130mph I lose it. With stock gears it would pull like a freight train up to 145mph. If anyone wants to swap stock 3.07's for 3.55's let me know!
I'm doing it all in one shot. I've just added a new larger liquid intercooler from DLM and a larger aluminum radiator from Alan's. Both were a delight to work with. Great for shipping and right there on the phone for any questions. I'm very impressed.
