Cause you spent $95 bucks to have your frame drip for three weeks...probably getting on your garage floor. I can change mine for less than $50, and know that it is done right!

What's the point of this thread? The viper is probably one if not the easiest oil changes of any car I've ever had! Do it yourself and quit going to these lube shops. There more trouble than there worth.

    Viper Top Speed

It's funny, I remember when that exact article came out. I was only 16 at the time. I was telling everyone then that I was going to have a viper someday. That was when everyone was telling me no way, you won't get one. Ha Ha 8 years later and I have one, its nice to know that this car can...

    mopar oil filter Part #

When we were in college my roommate and I would find stuff around the dormroom that we didn't need like calculators and watches, and then take them down to walmart and claim we'd bought them a while ago and couldn't find the reciept. They would always give us store credit, so we could go buy...

crackle sound from the speakers only at idle

I now have this exact problem. I spent $$ on new alpine speakers today thinking that the others were blown. Has anyone come up with the cause of this for sure? I am running stock champion plugs with 8.5 mm MSD wires. Any solution short of getting different wires?

    mopar oil filter Part #

Yeah, I was surprised to see them there, they only had the one model # too, like they had some leftover or something, there was about 8 of them. It was labeled for Jeep V8, but looked the like the same lentgh and thread pattern as the vipers.

    mopar oil filter Part #

Thanks, I saw Mopar filters at Walmart for 4 bucks. Part # M0-090 for the Jeeps V8. I cross referenced it in their book, and it looked to be the same as for the viper. If it was, I would have bought a couple to have as back ups.

phone # for The Viper Store?

I emailed them once about a front emblem as I was purchasing my viper. I had noticed that their location listed on the website is about 10 minutes from my house. I wanted to see if I could just come by with my viper and purchase the emblem in person to save on shipping. They replyed back and...

    lottery winning odds

I was on my way home from work, and sadly these days haven't been driving the viper to work for a lot of reasons. I sometimes am resented at work for being young and having the viper. While I can afford the car easily, many people now think I make too much money....not true at all, but people...

How hard is it to replace spark plug wires on an '01?

Re: How hard is it to replace spark plug wires on an \'01? With the cowl/wipers removed you shold be able to change all plugs and wires in about 30 min or so. Just do one at a time, I had a back one fall off while I was putting them on and it left me with two empty ones. I went on instinct...

best way to avoid skip shift?

The only time this has been a real problem for me is when making a left turn at an intersection where there is a car in front of you making a left, making it impossible to give more gas. I will just leave in 1st gear throughout the entire turn and once the revs are high enough then shift to...

I see they have updated the application on this site. A couple of weeks ago when I did this it was $60 dollars for new members. That is how much I sent a check for. Also I called a dozen times to try and do this over the phone. Everytime it said on their automated system that everyone at...

    A pointless story

This happened yesterday. I was out in the driveway cleaning out my wifes car and I noticed a girl talking to the woman that lives next door. A few seconds went by and then the girl starting walking toward me. She walks up to me and says, "how are you?" "Let me introduce myself, she says" My...
