    PIR-Portland Track days 2008 3/15; 4/25; 6/6; 8/15; 9/12; 10/24

ok. first off, what's the Chicane? Second, the driver training course is $195 for CSCC, and over $500 for Proformance school at Pacific Raceways. What is the better deal/experience? My birthday and/or Father's day is coming up and I only get one major event in the budget this year. I'm...

    Wyrsch's Party Caravan?

Heard at the monthly dinner that there is usually a caravan leaving from Eastgate. Anyone else up for it? If so, what time is good to meet? Supposed to be close to 70 on Saturday, so no worries about last week's snow - this will be the wife's first ride with the top down.:drive: CR

Photos of the 2003 and up brake cooling ducts?

Had to look it up, but the "cone" setup is available from Partsrack for $375. I don't think the stock SRT ducts would be a huge benefit for a Gen II just from memory of the last time I was under the front wheel well - it looked to be a molded piece that worked with the front facia & inner fender...

    2005 Viper New Owner Questions

1.Warrarty blower moter is good. Have not seen theis as a common failure amid this board. 2. The convertible top tonneau cover does come standard with the car, it was an option on the '03. (told my dealer to take $500 off the price if he couldn't locate, since aftermarket covers - not the...

"VCA Members Only" vs "Private" ?

No re-inventing the wheel…from my extended (my fault) Enthusiast experience….On the forum home page, under the column “Last Post”, it says “Private” if you are not a VCA member. I think JonB is merely suggesting that “Private” be changed to “VCA Members Only”.:drive:

Washington State VCA - Help Me Decide?

Try Park Place Motors in Bellevue. Closest dealer to Seattle that I know of with (usually) a decent selection of Vipers to compare and help narrow your search.

A bit of a dumb move - gas cap

Let the cashier stick to selling air fresheners and flame stickers. There's always air in the system - unlesss you have the optional tank that collapses as fuel is consumed.:D Seriously though, mileage has nothing to do with it. The warning light will go off after the computer is cycled...

My VCA membership app was RETURNED!

Apparently, for new members wanting to join in the 4th quarter, the dues will carry over into the following year. I filled out the paperwork in the 3rd 1/4, but didn't get around to sending it in. It was returned with my check for $60 and a request for the $100 for the 4th qtr. '07 and all of...

    Any 6''3 Viper owners?

I'd say it all depends on where your height is - torso vs. legs. I'm 6'2" and fit perfectly (do have to slouch a bit at stop lights). My wife, however, is 5'11" and looks straight at the top of the visor when she rides in our '04 SRT.

Diary of a new (to me) Viper owner

Thanks for the info! Been meaning to fill out the app but I never seem to have the paperwork and the VIN in the same place at the same time - maybe this weekend, if I'm not busy polishing.

Diary of a new (to me) Viper owner

In 1989, my dad came home from work and handed me a magazine with the quintessential American muscle car concept on the cover. He was (and is) 40 years, 8 days my senior, but he always knew what was cool. I, however, was sitting on my butt with nothing to do but mope around thinking “I’ll never...
