As a VOI Alternative I'd like to propose the following trip around the Upper/Mid Cape Sunday September 30 2012.
With stops for Lunch and perhaps picture taking, it will be a 5-6 hour round trip.
My thought is to have folks gather at the Information area near the Coast Guard Station on the...
The club schedule has the 23rd and the weekend of the 30th (VOI) weekend open- Which one is preferred?
I have early Sunday morning commits on the 30th, but may be able to coordinate a cruise on the Cape with an 11:00 Am launch eh, start time from Sandwich.

What's going on in the New England area the weekend of VOI?
A satellite VOI maybe? Shorter drive 1 day commitment?
I suspect upwards of 16 cars are on their way south. That leaves many more at home.
I'm open to ideas.

My 93 is my daily driver. Until the winter comes. Keeping the fluids flowing keeps the seals and gaskets from drying out and the battery primed!
I drove my car all winter last year and will not take it out in snow/recently sanded surfaces.
I was in torrential rain yesterday and the beast was...
All set now! I had to remove the coil-pack on the firewall to make room to take put the crossover and thermostat housing. After cleaning things up and placing the gaskets i put it back in two pieces (much easier) Next time I think I'll take off the intake covers!
Added coolant through a couple...
It's gonna take a little more than just tightening it- The Thermostat housing is going to be pulled apart and the gaskets replaced- I also have to replace the temperature sending unit. (It fell off in my hand while looking for the leak.)
Chuck has already sent the parts, and I'm ready to go for...
chuck comes through!
Based on a picture I sent Chuck is pretty confident that it's not serious.
He suggested I tighten the thermostat housing and add anti-freeze.
Tomorrow we'll now for sure.
I've sprung a leak- coolant is on the ground just behind the motor. There is a wet spot on the top rear of the engine.
Thoughts and suggestions would be for repair cost/planning purposes.
Thanks,
Eric
it was a blast!
The NE chapter is responsible for helping raise the price of the air-form model at the auction to 14k. My dad bid it up. I have the video to prove it. Though he really wanted it.
Good time. I haven't been to a large scale Viper event so seeing the 89 prototype actually made my...
now that may be the car
If I take out the distortion I can imagine that as a Viper.
Throw back scoops at the door!
Hood is a little over the top but I like that.
You all know what I am talking about!
SRT FedEx'd me my parking pass for Wednesday night.
This is going to rock!
Anyone else driving down/back from S.E. MA?
See you there.

buy the viper!
I founded 3si.org in1997. Owned 12 3/S platform vehicles since 1991 up until this year when I sold my last two. A 91 modded rt/TT (about 378hp) and 92 modded rt/TT (about 400hp). I had a blast in both until I had an opp to buy a 93 viper. I didn't think twice. I have no regrets...
I am based in MA and am interested in a car in Naperville. I need someone to check it out for me today or tomorrow.
Drop me an email and we can make arrangements.
Thanks guys.
Eric
