I read the listing and I doubt this is a fraud case in that he is trying to rip you off but don't send any money anyway. Nothing you do is going to make him sell you the car. This is a bad seller. Just move on.
I have an ebay store and have had one for quite a while. While ebay certainly considers what he did unethical, the bottom line is there isn't anything really to do about it. You can file a complaint with ebay and he will say you didn't agree to the terms of the sale. They can and maybe will...
Those look great! I think I prefer the flush look also but they do look great. Do the side sills need to be removed? My BB exhaust has a little lip at the end so will these fit over? Thanks.
Yes you look at it, then you have it professionally checked out even if it means having it taken somewhere. Wow, why would you do anything else? Business is rough yes, but even at that price, it's still a lot of money. Having it not professionally checked out is foolish and asking for trouble...
I absolutely would not buy it based on how it looks in person and what was disclosed. Ignoring what it may be worth later too is foolish. You may want to move up. At minimum I would have the car checked out completely by someone independent. A dealership close by or someone that was...
I know some others disagree but I wouldn't buy a salvage Viper on a dare. Just asking for future problems. Plan on having it forever because in my opinion, resale value would be zip.
I think we have all seen carfax's before. You could have just relayed what it said. With that being said, Carfax is a reference point, certainly not an absolute. A car can definitely have had previous accident damage without it being on carfax. Carfax only reports what is reported to them...
Even before you make the drive, you may consider asking someone close to the car from the club here to initially check it out in person for you. It may or may not even be worth the drive. If I read the ad correctly, it's in Atlanta Ga. Tons of VCA members in that area. I'm sure there are some...

The first one is listed as used for some reason but it only has 14 miles on it.
I actually like the looks of the Diablo over the Murcielago. However I wouldn't quibble over it. The Murcielago is an incredible car. I have driven a Gallardo and it was fantastic. I have to agree. You want your Viper to disappear, as much as I love the Viper, park it next to a lambo.
Ever since I changed out the exhaust, it's no problem driving my vert in the hot weather. If it gets too bad, I just drive with the ac on with the top down. Honestly though, changing the exhaust from the stock was key, big time.
It aligns with the intake perfectly. Only the hood was painted but the guy I had painting it was very meticulous in the matching. He didn't even need to blend the quarter panels. It matched up perfectly.
Thats true. We all can't be a legendary race car driver, and a top mechanic, who knows everyone and is admired, and has owned several Vipers, like you. We can all aspire though.
Here is the new hood I got from Steve at Vipair. The guy couldn't be nicer and the price was great. It took a while to get it on and painted but it looks great. I have a before and some after pics to show the difference. It is a bit more high profile than the OEM 08/09 but I don't think it's...
