    Bogging during aggressive launch

John - thank you for the reply. I presume for a stock car with sticky tires, this probably means something greater than 3,500RPM.

    Bogging during aggressive launch

GTSnake - yes, I am definitly considering it. I am just shocked how weak the car feels off the line. I honestly think it's the darn sticky tires! With these Pirelli's I can hear little rocks thrown by the tire.

    Bogging during aggressive launch

Perhaps it's the warmer weather and sticky tires (aftermarket) but when I try to launch the car semi-aggressively (around 2 to 3,000 rpms), the car bogs big time (rpm drops to about 1 or so). Of course when I dump the clutch at 3,500+ I am sitting there doing a burnout. Is this normal or is...

PhilC or Dan - would you guys mind sharing the fix for this? I am getting ready to install a puke can that acts as an intermediary between the air box and valve vs. a breather unit.

HELP - Mopar plug wire mismatch

Steve - thanks for the reply. Just got done. Took me freaking 4hrs mainly b/c I was taking my good ole time. As suggested previously, removing cowl and air resonator and doing one plug at a time seem like the critical points. Next time, I will try to get a can of compressed air and hopefully...

Chuck - thanks again! Yes, it was #3 and even #7 seems longer too. I guess I will go with the numbers stamped on the wire.

HELP - Mopar plug wire mismatch

I got my Mopar plug wires from Chuck so I know it has to be the right part but unfortuantely the wire length differs from the original stock wires when you try to match up using numbers stamped on the wire. For example, the new #3 wire is about 6" longer than the original #3 wire. Do I go with...

I just recently purchased Energy Poly tranny mount 3.1108gc per advice of a member here. After doing a quick research, I am hearing of hard vibration after switiching from oem to poly mounts from non-Viper owners. Does anyone have experience with Energy transmission mount? Will it be THAT...

    2002 Oil Consumption

Russ M - thanks again for your help. Your recommendation just reminded me that a couple months ago I did a 600 mile hike with no oil use probably since there was no severe accerleration/decleration. My dyno numbers about 3 months ago seems like it was right on (420+rwhp/465rwtq) so I presume I...

    2002 Oil Consumption

Stinkypete - given that the car is still under warranty, I my consider that route perhaps during the chicago winter... Would this fix also apply to a 2002 as well?? Russ M - yes, I do moderate amount of braking but it's mostly stop light to stop light hard acceleration. Enough that once my...

'00 oil use and Arrow rebuild ???'s

Re: \'00 oil use and Arrow rebuild ???\'s My 2002 GTS is also having similar oil consumption issues. I just noticed that I had used over a quart in less than 1000 miles. It's been mostly city driving, often hard accerleration. I didn't think after 2000 were affected by this? I would...
