Ready to buy a GTS
That was my car Ba$$fan. I am still happy with the sale, but my suggestion to you if you are looking for a silver GTS is to get a 1999 rather than a 1998 so that you get the newer interior door handles (the old-style bezels are cheesy and a PITA if you have to remove the door and replace them)...- PhoenixGTS

What brake pads for (LOW DUST) street use?
If you mean the rear piston as it is pushed out by the emergency/parking brake the answer is no special tool needed. There are two holes in the piston: simply open a set of needle nose so the tips fit into those holes and screw it back in. Very simple.- PhoenixGTS

Porterfield R4S is VERY clean, but I took them back off because they are not very interested in stopping the car. I'd like to hear honest opinions about stopping power of the other low-dust suggestions compared to stock Brembo pads.- PhoenixGTS

Riding a couple of Bentleys to San Antonio: its gone now. My girlfriend blubbered like someone died when the transporter came. "It's just such a beautiful car" she wailed! Inconsolable. I was fine until she started, then I got a little teary eyed.- PhoenixGTS

Am I the only one?
If the stock gearing on a Viper was appropriate stock would be fine, but 3.55/3.73 rear gears and a .80 5th and .64 6th are just plain necessities to get the car to where it should have been from the factory. Honestly this ruins the stock Viper for me.- PhoenixGTS

What header will make my car not sound like a UPS truck....
I disagree. It's the headers. I know it is a Gen II with rear exhaust, but here is a 0-60 run in my car with Balenger headers, stock cats modified to have 3" inlet and outlets, and two straight through mufflers on each side. Sounds pretty Lambo-ish to me...- PhoenixGTS

Who do you contact or how do you edit classifieds?
This car has to go and when you see 11k mile B&W's going for $30k you realize the sad truth: these cars just aren't worth what we wish they were. But hey, I only paid $40k for it 6.5 years ago. Add in another $10k-$15k of mods and that is not horrible depreciation/cost for 6+ years of fun.- PhoenixGTS
