This is what I sent....
I am writing today on behalf of Tator’s Dodge in South Salem, New York.
I have read some disturbing things on-line about Tator’s possibly loosing their Dodge franchise. This concerns me.
I have owned many cars, by many makers…but have yet to experience the...
If you are speaking of the captive washer bolts that retain the rear fascia along the bottom...you would need to got to an auto body supply shop. They are not standard hardware.
Easier to wire wheel, or galss bead them and painted them black. Replacements won't last any longer than the...
To answer....yep, the pic I posted is the V1 remote display in my '03 Cobra. I don;t think I have used the V1 more than once of twice in the GTS...it's rarely on the highway.
This is where the V1 is mounted in Cobra to give an idea as to where it is. (The pic was taken to show the Scan Gauge...
V1....the remote display just moves the display elsewhere...but you still need the V1 mounted on the windshield. But...it keeps the unit from lighting up and letting everyone know it';s up there. It has front and rear antennas that need to "see" out.
In the Cobra, I mounted the V1 above the...
I can't see how they different refrigerant would have anything to do with that. If memory serves me, (and that seems to get more questionable every day) the controls are just vacuum and electrical.
I'd bet the difference is cosmetic.
A bit off topic....but of the 4 cars I have...3 used the...
Maybe a bit off topic...but the factory side markers are not from a Bug. They are made by Peterson Manufacturing. They are also on my enclosed trailer.
Ready? You can buy the exact same amber stock lenses at Wal-Mart for under $3.00.
I had bought some to replace the ones on my trailer and...
Hey guys...it's all about the money. Cerebus could care less about people....or the product line as long as it is profitable.
My 2 cents? It would be a tragedy to cut Tator's off. There's another thread about that so I won;t go into that there. There is no new Chrysler product that interests me...
It's not that easy..as the originals and one for a Viper would be very different.
The original Hurst Pistol Grips were built as part of the handle that actually went into the shifter. I can speak best for 1970 "B" bodies, and for a bench seat or no console car it was a long, straight handle...
I was involved awhile ago (likely a few years or more now) with Jason at Gunslinger products. He makes repro Hurst pistol grips for older Mopars as well as some other cars. I was involved in test fitting these to Vipers...and still have the sample at home.
If memory serves me, all that needed...
Thanks for the PMs!
I will stop at my folk's and bring all of them home...then I'll know what we have. I will get back to everyone!
(I still have no clue what to charge for these. I don't want to be unfair)
Paul..if you are looking for the issue from Summer 1998, with a rear view of a GT2...and "First Drive"...I have an extra.
Also... I had many other extras I just came across at my folk's house. When I moved I must have left some behind. If there is anything anyone needs..maybe I have it.
I have...
Here's where I got mine...works great...and has the extra plug to keep dirt out of the original part of the harness. Price is right...shipped quick. $20 shipped.

I use a Motorola H700 headset to connect to my RazrV8. I use it all the time in the car or not. I thought about installing BT technology in my daily drivers...but prefer this headset.
My wife and I watched a good deal of the BJ auction (great initials, huh?) and frankly I was amazed at how wacky the pricing was.
As someone else mentioned, the cost of "recreations" (nice word for fraud) was over the top while many "real" cars seemed to be bargains in comparison. That Hudson...
Frank..I put Scan Gauge IIs in both my Fords. They will read error codes, and they're reasonable. Plugs into the OBDII port. I installed over the rear view mirror in both cases with a mount sold by MGT Motorsports. Here's how it looks in the Cobra.
I'm wondering what kind of frame repair was done to begin with. It doesn't say so in your post, but your pictures are titled as such.
Seems sloppy with overspray on the arm.
I know someone that ground the posts down on an Optima and it vented the battery. One of the posts was hollow. Plus, it voids the warranty on the battery.
I too went with an Interstate when it was time.
The store that sold me the Interstate also sells Optimas and suggest against buying one as they get many returns/exchanges.
Hey Frank...I believe that you know what you're doing, but QEW is one thing I have yet to try...it just seems too good to be true. Over the winter it would be a huge help on my daily driver.
Firstly, you start with a dry vehicle, and the first "touch" is made with the wet mitt?
Where can QEW...
I read somewhere that it cost GM something like $1 Billion to close Olds. At least with Plymouth, there were very few (I think 2) Plymouth only franchises remaining. One was here in PA.
I sincerely hope Chuck's dealership can come through this okay.
I would not leave it 100% open. I often leave mine slightly open in the front. I'm thinking it's not good for the springs and hinges to have the weight that way.
