What is the Best Garage Floor Coating ?

VCT is not a "peel and stick" tile. The adhesive that is trowelled on the floor used to be good down to 50 degrees. I understand there is a newer version that can withstand lower temps. We had this in the unheated foyer of our former office for years with no issues, however. Some have...

    2000 RT/10 Detail

I only have one question...why would you use metal polish on clearcoated wheels? Isn't that a bit caustic for that use? If those are stock 2000 wheels...they are clearcoated. (Perhaps they were stripped, etc?)

What is the Best Garage Floor Coating ?

When I converted/redid my attached garage, I used a RaceDeck style product called Sport Court. When I build my bigger, detached garage I used a concrete stain. It's solid color and the idea is that it is supposed to leach into the concrete and be more strong than an epoxy type coating. My...

Bounce plus bottled water= no more bugs!

Guys, there are some questions about dryer sheets and cancer. Apparently some of the chemicals used in them are carcinogens. As I understand it, the government doesn't have a problem with them in their intended use as they don't come in contact with skin. Just my two cents for what it's worth...

How bad was my trade in?

You know how I see it? If you were pleased with the deal enough to make it....it was a good deal. I think the definition of a good deal is when both parties agree. I'm sure you expected the dealer to make something on a trade, right? They likely won't get asking price and will have to come...

Picture in Autoweek of Vipers at the Blackhawk

I'm wondering who the black '96 RT belonged to. I have one that came from California...wondering if it's the same. I realize odds are slim...but....

Mopars @ ETown May 14 - Who was there?

I stand corrected about the judging. I have attended that show since the late 80s, and stopped showing when it went to popular vote. That was a number of years ago and at first it was only popular vote on Saturday, then went to both days. They also change the rules as to how they awarded the...

Mopars @ ETown May 14 - Who was there?

I missed it? I used to really enjoy that show and have a dozen winner's jackets from the showfield. I remember when there was good turnout for that show, and the last time I went it was a real shame. When it all went to popular vote judging....it was over for me.

    Best Floor Mats

I'm in the market right now to get mats for my 96. I had Lloyds mats in my 94 a number of years ago and was dissappointed how they wore so quickly where heels contacted them while driving.

Opinions... Best Lift - Price No Consideration!

I read the link on the Corvette forum. In that thread, it was the opinion that had the posts been bolted to the floor, the issue could have been avoided or less severe. While the instructions for that lift may have required bolting to the floor...at least with the BendPak, it was not. In fact...

Opinions... Best Lift - Price No Consideration!

When I went shopping for a lift...while cost was a factor...it was not above safety, either. I bought a BendPak HD9. ALI rated, duplicate safety locks at each corner, air-locks as opposed to mechanical linkage. Rated for 9000 pounds. Mine arrived in about a week, if memory serves. I remember...

Gen 1 Gen 2 fog lamps for $45

Tom, the parts books do use the same earlier pictures...and the same pics are on the dealer computers. I was looking something up and noticed it just recently myself.

Gen 1 Gen 2 fog lamps for $45

Yeah Tom...good find. However, Gen II fog lights are different from Gen I lamps. They mount differently and are not Bosch but Audi lamps. Gen II lamps mount to a ring and three screws to the fascia, while the Gen I lamps are "hinged" from the top with a clip at the bottom.

    Spiderman Spiderman.............Spideman Viper

I guess I just don't "get" that car as a promotional thing. Same goes for the ridiculous OCC theme bikes for companies.

    recommendation for transporting plz...

While my "final" delivery guy was very nice....I could not recommened Reliable. According to the person that handled the shipping it should have taken only 10 days...but it took almost 4 weeks from CA to PA and the car was loaded-unloaded-stored several times.

    Happy Birthday Mustang

My former daily driver was a 2003 Cobra...a great car. (Sold it last April to a guy that already totalled it) All that being said...Mopar guys know that the Barracuda was released 6 weeks before the Mustang. Yeah, yeah, "Valiant with a fastback"....blah, blah, blah....Mustang was a Falcon...

    Hood pad replacement

You'll need to pull the clips anyhow...and remove at least one hood attaching nut anyhow. Also, the extra thickness may cause rubbing on the inner fenders.
