    Couple of questions from a new guy.

    The skip shift disengages at about 20 mph in 1st. You will never notice it. I have driven my Viper ifor 3 years including stop/go traffic and have had it activate only twice.

    "is this green wire one of the EEM connector wires?" No, the green wire is a separate wire unattached to anything. It is terminated with a rubber shield. Push a test lead or piece of wire into the end of the green lead and touch the other end to ground. At least this is how it was on my 97 GTS.

    Welding High Flow Cats

    Get them welded. Any decent welder should be able to weld around them without removing them from the car. I got mine done at Midas for 50$.
