    check that cap!

    I got the vent clamp several years ago when they first came out. Noticed last week that the clip style clamp don't seem to hold the same as they used too and would allow the cap to turn despite having the tube attached. I am going to get a screw clamp to replace the clip.

    I don't think MGW makes a short shifter, only a short knob. The knob is great and really shortens the throw.     Never understood these sort of spoilers other than the bling factor. Wouldn't you want a large spoiler that got smaller as you went faster?!?! Seems totally backwards.....

    I agree. I actually like the DODGE ones the best. Like the 1996 Indy Pace Car. Don't care much for the VIPER decal.More people seem to know it's a Viper than know it's a Dodge.

    Total worldwide Vipers: 25,531

    With 11,273 355's and over 11,000 360's plus a bunch of Testarossas, 550's, 575's, 430's 348's, 612's and a few Enzo's and F-50s, I would wager that there were many more Ferrari's produced in that same period than Vipers. I sure see a lot more Ferraris around here than Vipers.... unfortunately.

    Being an obvious Porsche fan, by "protection" I assume you mean traction control, stability control, all wheel drive, an automatic tiptronic transmission, braking assist and a collision avoidance, all those things that make a car truly worth driving.... and extremely dangerous to drive without!

    If A Paddle Shifting Transmission Was Available In 2009, Anyone Buying One?

    In my opinion, it would be a shame if the Viper ever comes with a automatic transmission, whether a paddle shifter or column shifter. The manual shifter is one of the things that makes it a Viper. Please Dodge, don't turn it into just a Ferrari or Corvette with a different body!

    The crackle is normal for the Mopar wires as they are low resistance wires. The higher resistance wires don't have it.
