How would a Chrysler group sell off affect the Viper?

Isn't it funny that as soon as Dieter Zetsche went back to Germany, Chrysler starts a downward spiral, and Mercedes is looking great?

How would a Chrysler group sell off affect the Viper?

What about a Kerkorian buyout with a Lutz return?

    This REALLY pisses me off

Vipers stand out. Use this to your advantage. Take out a newspaper ad and ask if anyone witnessed a Viper doing anything unusal in a 25 mile radius of the dealership on that day. Someone shows up in court to say "I saw two guys in a Viper (with big smiles on thier faces) doing a burnout at 3pm...

How would a Chrysler group sell off affect the Viper?

It's just speculation at this point, but I'd like to hear other opinions about what might happen to the Viper program in different hands. From Automotive News: Is the Chrysler group for sale? During a presentation to analysts and journalists today, DaimlerChrysler CFO Bodo Uebber refused to...

What if DCX sized down the body of the 08 like the C6?

I have to admit that the Saturn Sky looks pretty good on the street for a 'smaller' car. It doesn't have that 'toy' look like a Miata. It's the width. Drop 200 lbs in the Viper and it will beat a Z06 all day long. Drop the weight and add 100 (or more) horses and it's unquestionably King of the...

    Final? 2006 production numbers

The source is Automotive News. The dates are Jan 1 2006 to today. So yes, by model year they will be different. I was just comparing the numbers of each car with the totals built this calendar year.

    Final? 2006 production numbers

901 Vipers. I'm not sure of the mix. Production stopped. 1640 for the Ford GT. production stopped. 34,443 so far for the Vette and still going.....and going.....and going

    Two sightings this weekend

The first was a red GTS with silver stripes. It was in the BMW Mfg. parking lot Saturday afternoon at the Eurofest car show. The second was a white mamba at the Blind Horse Saloon during the Tracy Lawrence concert. Anybody here?

the Z06 roof fly off video......lol

Why not just remove the glued-on roof, then someone in the aftermarket could design a carbon fiber clamp on design. Best of both worlds....a Z06 targa. GM didn't think this was a better idea? HOW MANY BRAINS work on each design?

    Wife is pressuring me!!!

2 seater. It will compete with the Vette (some say) or against the Jag, XLR, 6 series, SL Mercedes, Aston Martin (others say) I think if they can hold the price in the 60-70K range and it has better than SRT-8 performance (same engine, it should be lighter) it will be a hit. The Conner Ave...

Cold tire season starting, be careful!

My nieghbors don't like how loud the Viper is in the morning. They would get really pissed off if I smoked 'em out while they were sipping coffee on the front porch.

Cold tire season starting, be careful!

Wow, happened again. EVEN AFTER I warned myself. HP does go up a good bit in cooler weather!

Now this SRT sounds MEAN! (video)

No way he would pass German driveby noise or emissions testing!

Viper SRT convertibles to end in 06!

What if they design the top to look like the coupe, but still have a removable section. IF they design it right, it will save weight, and save a lot of development costs. No folding toupee please.

IMHO - NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS FOR SRT OWNERS

The SMART thing to do would be to announce (here on this site) that, due to timing, 'something' was coming but that NO ANNOUNCEMENT would be made at the event and that all DC employees and representatives would be tarred and feathered if the winked nodded or nudged anything. Marketing...

Did they announce the 2008 Viper?

They would never intro a Viper in Frankfurt!

Cold tire season starting, be careful!

This morning it was in the upper 50's here in SC. I temporarily forgot that hot tires on hot roads = good traction. SO, I went to pass a retard going 35 in a 45 on a two lane on my way to work..... Second gear, full throttle, tires spin as the RPMs rise. No surprise there, but then the car...

Run Craps VS Non Run Craps, I see no difference !! on a Paxton Car

The run flats are dangerous on a cold winter day. My non run flats ride so much smoother, I sometimes feel like I'm in a Ford GT. Flame suit on.

I'll find the 'official' report, but just by watching German TV last week 'Single car accidents reduced by 75%' with ESP.
