    Bill, Nice to meet ya in Shreveport this past weekend. Prices to paint the front facia in Dallas is around $500 (including the labor to remove and reinstall). You could opt to only paint the bottom 1/3 for around $300.

    Use a hair dryer to heat the letters then peal them off. You might a piece of dental floss and they will come right off!

    I had the same thought. NEVER heard of rounding up and never bought anything on the net that WAS rounded up! In this modern age of computer everything, seems like most merchants have mastered the ability to charge exact amounts! :rolleyes:

    Yep, common problem on that year. May want to check into the O2 sims. This seems to have helped others with this problem.

    I have an e-mail from the PartsRack informing me that it's $80 per wheel to mount and balance. You NEVER mention that "It ain't PartRack's price" and NEVER mention that "you do NOT recommed HRE as the mounter-balancer"!!!! I think that your e-mail stands by itself!!! It not what you said, but...

    I recently looked at buying some HRE wheels and tires from the PartsRack and was quoted, via e-mail, that it would be $80/wheel!!!!!!! :eek: :eek: That amounts to $320 for a set mounted and balanced!!!!! Needless to say, I passed!! Sheesh! :rolleyes:

    Front spoilers (caynards)

    The ones from the GT2 car are what I have, but they were hard to get ahold of. I looked at other vendors, but the pieces were larger than those off the white/blue GT2. Good luck!

    Need front tires - suggestions

    I have always heard that you should drive with a matched set of tires on the front and rear for the best handling and performance. Personally, I would not mix the tires if you can avoid it.

    When buying my 97 GTS, I called Eric and he would not return my phone calls!! I finally gave up on this guy. If he's too busy to sell me a $55,000 car, then I'll take my money elsewhere (and did!!) :)

    Why has this car not sold yet?

    Has the car been placed "in service"? If not and it's not been titled, you should be able to get the full factory warranty from your purchase date. Be sure to ask specifically about this point!!

    Try to get the ACR rims if possible!! Also, just FYI, that is the PartsRack wing and not the GT2. Nice looking car though!! I'm in Dallas and let me know if I can help.

    Financial Statement V-10 Nationals

    Although I was unable to attend, I heard VERY nice things about this event from several friends who attended. One of these people had never drag raced before and could not stop talking about what a great time he had!! This is what it's all about in my opinion!! Thanks to all for the hard work...

    After market wheels vs. factory

    I have chromed 17 inch wheels and am switching to 18 inch HRE. The HRE's just look better and I think there are some handling benefits to going with an 18 inch rim/tire (except if your a drag racer!!).
