    Car shutting down at 4600 RPM ?

    I had the same problem. Solved it with a better ground wire and ignition bypass...didn't route the ignintion signals through the VEC2... (interference with fuel distribution) As far as I understand is Sean and the Civinco guys working on this bug, it only happens on a few cars. /JP

    A manual is always faster then a Automatic. Look at ProStock, ProMod etc. But it's easier and cheaper to be fast enough with a Automatic...and booooring. I've gone the maual route witha a Clutchless Jerico in my Viper...that's fun!

    Most automatics are to wide for the Viper. A 904 housing with 727 internals will work. In a TT Viper would I choose a race built PG.

    Daniel, we will do our best to find a working combination. A clutch is about 3500, a tob, if you dont use the stock one is about 600. A trans is about 4200 etc etc. Then you need adapters and stuff.

    Will this solve the clutch problem...? A McLeod fully adjustable SoftLok clutch, the stock T56 has also been replaced with a Jerico Clutchless 4spd transmission.

    BAZ, it is the inside of the opening. Never try to smooth that edge out. If so will the air velocity get bad.

    It is extremely important tha you leave a sharp edge inside the plenum when you open up the TBO hole.

    VEC2 results on Stage 2 heads

    Jack, with 75psi fuelpressure and Gen2 injectors did we find the max power to be about 550 rwhp at 100% duty cycle. Next week will we ad a VEC2 and larger injectors. Do you have any numbers for your ignition curve, I need something to start with.

    Jack, we are using the VEC-system. I have the stock numbers but only up to 5000rpm, I would like the up to 6000rpm. But It would still be great to look at your curve, just to compare to ours. Thank You /JP

    Cobra guys

    I'm at the moment building a Cobra with all the stuff. 730rwhp on race gas (Blower, fuelsystem, cams, tbo, headers etc). FYI the 2.4 isn't available yet. No problem to get them into the 10s, but if you want 9s you mostly need to beef you your rear end.

    Gen2 heads on Gen1 engine...no way. Mild port, 225dur/585lift 114 dur, Belangers etc, about 550hp

    Timing curve?

    I will start the tuning of the new engine next week, I need some baseline data to be able to set the timing before we fires it up. Does somebody have a timing curve to share? The engine has 9.4 compression and the camshaft is 250 single pattern 116 lobe. All information is appreciated.
