Don,
ya,with some mud tires on there. Hey, how bout a tailpipe as big as the pic I saw one time here that looked like the top of a garbage can. I sure feel sorry for those guys that have to wait until the spring or till the snow melts to drive their Viper. They have to store it for months...
We did the road rally and auto cross. One group went to the motor sports ranch and the other to the autocross which was bad asp. At the ranch we went for one hell of a van ride with the tires squeeling at every turn to show us the coarse. Thanks to the guys at Motor Sports Ranch for putting on...
I can tell you from experience that on the gen 1 the sound is pretty loud but the exhaust flow will almost blow you away so stay away from gravel roads unless you want a dust storm. Dyno results with Sean's set up without the cats will be right at 14 RWHP. Don't know with the cats. Now on my...
You can find some pics of just the install on gen 2's on the bottom of the page where it says Simpsons at: http://viperclub.org/sctexas
we had a seatbelt install party and installed them on 6 vipers at once
I called last week and Unitrax quoted me 405.00 for the 3:45 which is what I will go with. The 3:55's are great also. I just decided on those gears so not to comprimize too much top end. As far as price, I took my gen 1 to a shop here in Texas and they also work on other vipers and they...
I agree. Excellent article. Now that I see there is one in autoweek, my butt is out to find it in the store. I only have the R & T mag. Thanks for the heads up.
I am in the market for new 18inch Pilot Sports and I think Tire Rack is the cheapest. They sell the fronts ( 275-35-18 ) for 322.00 and the rears ( 335-30-18 ) for 380.00
I know there are always posts on tires but I havent seen one lately rather it be a special or a blue light special.
The South Central Texas Viper Club http://viperclub.org/sctexas has an event coming up on the 21st of this month that Maxwell Dodge will sponsor, and is for the benefit of the Ronald Mcdonald house. We wanted to get the word out to the corvette guys that they were invited to join...
Re: On Patience... and pictures of my \"Project Viper\"
Jay,
looks like you got your work cut out for you but you like to tinker and thats a tinkerer for sure. Getting a rebuild from Arrow was a darn good thing. Cant beat Arrow. Keep us posted.
Gadgetman, we have something in common. I bought Layne's first Red Rt and you bought the second one. Nice car. He didnt put the stripes on the first one he got from Woodhouse but obviously he did the second one. Woodhouse would be the place of choice to have had them done so I am sure they...
If someone would ever post something bad about Woodhouse and Bill I dont there there would be one person that would believe the post and probably would probably ask for the post to be removed. Thumbs up to you guys...
Here are the pics from Jim Nordgren on his excellent job on modifying the factory air box. I just did the same to mine exactly like he did. Thanks Jim for the pics and complete how to instructions. Here is a link to our website

Kingman, enjoyed breakfast with you and Steve at IHOP this morning. Mike, Sam, Cathy, and myself went down to the auto show and saw it in person. Some things about the car I liked and some I didn't. Next time hopefully it won't rain. Thanks for setting up the whole car show deal we talked...
You won\'t believe what Bill Pemberton did ?????
I sent an e-mail to Nancy Shano and Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse because I needed a Viper shirt right away to give to a 12 year old boy that loves Vipers and is going to an event with me in Austin on Friday. Its like a big brother and sister...
Questions is: Do you have chrome as the tread stated? Those look really nice but the problem is locating chrome for the rear. I also have chrome on the sides of my red 98 rt which look killer and would look the same on the rear. I which someone would take this task on of hooking up with a...
Re: V-Mania\'s NEW \"Quick Mount\" Double Bubble Hardtop
If the top Biff sells looks as good as I think it will look, I will have a OEM hardtop I will be putting up for sale in the near future.

Excellent pics and thanks. I think the answer to your question concerning why removing the muffler creates the horsepower is because: note the holes throughtout each side, yes some gases go straight through but a lot goes through the holes and creates a turbulance and therefore cannot escape...
I have put the EBC pads on two cars now and what a difference. We finally have a brake pad that does what it says it does. Way to go Kingman, or is it Wingking, or should we now call him the brakeking...he he he
