Congrats. How many times did you go look at it in the garage tonight? I remember doing it alot.
BTW. why the transport if only 100 miles away. If it was registration how were you able to drive it 70 miles when it arrived at your home
I don't feel there is an appreciable difference in throw and it's rough getting it in gear (comes out fine a little too easy actually).
I'm going to take another stab at adjusting it, any insight on procedure which will yield the best results? Thanks in advance.
Phil
BTW, I'd still be...
Do you mind if I ask what the svs shifter set you back. I have the b & m and dont like it at all. I dont want to go back to stock but I'm definately getting rid of the B & M.
Wild Bill:
I try not to but perrhaps it happens from time to timebut that would not explain the drastic change in clutch life since the RPS flywheel. When I had the Fidanza and the stock flywheel for that matter, I was getting a lot more mileage from the clutch and was even racing it quite a...
I've got a whistling sound that I cant figure out. The first few times I heard it I thought it was police sirens from afar but then realized it was coming from my car (once I turned the stereo down). It doesn't seem to matter if it's in gear or not or if the clutch is in or not or if the radio...
"he beat Norm and driver big gun scott from Tx. (and me) SW was also in this class.
Norm and Scott won the all motor class."
I thought there was a whole big deal about having to drive your own car in the V10 Nats!
Get yourself an extra set of half shafts and rear end because one or the other is definately going to break eventually when your launching really hard. If you have them as spares it just saves a little disappointment and minimizes your time without the car.
Good luck. Maybe I'll see you there...
Nice run Jeff. Based on that 60 ft I think the car has a 9.99 in it but you better get it soon before the temps get too high. Congrats! It sounds like fun, I've been missing it and haven't found the opportunity yet this year.
It's not called a zone rendezvous on a voi year but there is always an event in conjunction with the Mopar Atlantic Nationals.
If we get enough people to back it, we can rent the track on Friday for Viper only. I'm not going to bother with it this year if we dont do Friday.
I went with the satin in order to match the acr wheels better. I also thought that where they are positioned, it would be a pain to keep them looking perfect (feet scuffing them every time in and out) in chrome.
Good Luck.
All you need is one. If you've seen one you've seen them all. I do remember when I first got the car I really looked forward to getting the 1/4rly. Now I dont even open them.
Twin:
I'm watching it on a lap top so clarity is not good, but was ther a bunch of smoke coming out of the back end of your car at the end of that run? Good kill.
Phil
I agree with Pauls that the replacement for the stock clutch is terrible. I didn't find the kevlar clutch from Archer all that much better.
I will wait to hear the feedback from you guys trying the spec stage 3i. Hopefully it is the answer I've been looking for.
Good Luck.
Phil
