    I had the problem on my 96 GTS at WOT. Carbon builds up on the head and causes detonation. I had the heads pulled and cleaned under warranty.     The same Pirelli's. The side wall information is the MAX pressure for the tire. When I went to Brabus, Felix said to inflate to 40# front, 44# rears. You might want to call them to confirm.
