Very observant Dixter. I usually park my E55 AMG in that garage so the tennis ball is placed for that car. BTW, the balls are used to line up where I park the cars since I have lucite squares under the tires so the heat doesn't affect the floor when I park after long drives.
No engine swaps in the garage yet. I'll freak out if the head gaskets go! Most people feel like they have to take their shoes off before they walk in.
All the artwork was courtesy of Dodge. VOI 2 in Monterey provided the Tom Hale Gen I print. I have a cutaway of the Viper in the work area and...
Thanks Anthony. Johnsonite is in Ohio and can be reached at 800-899-8916. The website is www.Johnsonite.com
The floor was installed by Universal Flooring in Huntington Beach and they arranged for the logo. You can contact Steve Caputo at 714-373-1136. Tell him Andy Weiss referred you. I don't...
The company that installed the tile had the logo cut into the tile with a water jet cutting system. The Viper logo was cut out of the red tile and a male pattern was cut from yellow tile and inserted into the cutout like a puzzle. It was expensive but the logo is flush with the floor and looks...
I recently installed a Johnsonite rubber tile floor. Red with yellow Viper logo and safety stripes at the front edge of the garage and leading edge of the steps. The logo is laser cut into the tile and is 4x4.
Thanks to Jerry and Greg from VCA/Nevada... about 30 RT/10's from Nevada, California and Arizona were asked to drive the NASCAR drivers for the parade laps on track before the UAW/Daimler Chrysler 400 at the LVMS on Sunday. More than 140,000 spectators watched us pick up drivers and passengers...
Re: Bob Lutz Gives\"Thumbs Down\" to the SRT/10!!!!!
The entire article is not there so it's hard to respond without seeing the comments in context. Given that Lutz is now a senior executive with GM, it's hard to imagine him not criticizing the competition. Remember the strength he brought to...
I know space limitations will affect the location of the door speakers in the VGX but has anyone noticed where they are in the doors? I find that my left leg blocks the sound from the drivers door speaker and the passengers right leg does the same.
Any chance the new Gen will improve this to...

Re: Bill \"Cream Puff\" Pemberton...
Now I know what really happened to my deposit on the 2003. And Billy told me it was going into the Swiss account to take his gay lover Woody to Caribe!
You're NUTS! (no pun intended!) The mounting point on the floor of my RT/10 is forward of the spot where the belt exits the seat. If we learned anything from Dale Earnhardt, check the mounting instructions and follow them. I would bet this installation would not meet specs.
Tony you missed the point. The objective is safety not looks or convenience. When Dodge provides a mounting point for the anti-sub belt why would you look for another place to mount it? The manufacturer's installation instructions for the safety belts should be followed for the greatest...
I remember reading that the 03 front end redesign with separate hood and fenders would save about $10,000 from the 1 piece hood design on Gen I and II cars. Recognizing that development costs must be recovered, we hope that DC remembers to credit the cost savings when establishing the cost of...
Steve-opinions are like a**holes...everybody has one. Those of us who have been involved in planning VCA and local events well know that you cannot please everyone. We just do the best we can and the members that have a good time will hopefully say thank you every once in a while. Don't get...
V1 occasionally offers refurbished or returned detectors for a discount. They are about $50 less than the new ones. I have one new and one returned detector and see no differences. Both are waranteed by V1.
Re: I heard a \"Bang!!\" in my rear end of My GTS..any idea\'s?
It was God knocking you on the head for trying to lose control of your Viper. BTW, the delete option on common sense is not a warranty issue.
VCA SoCal covers you guys in Slam Diego too. We grew this region the way you guys want to do it... by picking up the ball and planning events and having a good time. Anytime we asked the SoCal region to help with publicity, emails and sometimes $$, they were there for us. You really don't need...
More sad news for members in Southern California and the national VCA. On Thursday, Dave Kalemkiarian passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer. Ironically, many SoCal members learned about Dr. Dave when we attended the Cruisin for a Cure show in Tustin where 2500 cars appeared to...
VCA SoCal will be meeting to caravan to the Cruisin For A Cure car show at the El Toro Marine base this Saturday. I will bring the Red Cross Donation information so we can help support VCA's efforts. Thanks for making this opportunity available to us.
