For a picture of the shirts (these are Reyn Spooner):

BTW, I just got mine yesterday and they are great looking shirts.
I've had my Mopar spoiler for a few years now. Like you mentioned, I liked the looks better - it just seemed to flow with the R/T's body lines. Sure you got to drill holes, but are you really going to ever take it off? Also since it is a factory supplied option to the car, it really isn't a...
My strut worked great until I added the Mopar spoiler. Then with the added weight the strut would not hold the lid open. I bought another strut and added it on the other side and it works perfect.
I was tentative about the plugs also, but decided to give it a try. They backed out easy enough for me, but if they were stubborn I was going to leave them alone. I also had to make a special tool by grinding down a ratchet extension. There is another plug by the thermostat (used when you...
I noticed that braided ground strap on my 2000 RT/10 when I removed the cowl to change spark plug wires. The end of it had a crimped on eye which was attached between the cowl and the body of the car and held down by one of the screws wich hold the cowl (near the wiper arm attachment point)...
I had this done on a single metal garage door. They raised the door opener to the ceiling and positioned to one side, attaching the arm from the chain to the top corner of the door. Evidently on a single garage door the opener will still function without racking the door when it is pulling from...
Happened to me at VOI7. Lowered the window, heard a clunk and the window wouldn't go up again. I could hear the motor also. Turned out the cables broke - evidently a common problem. I reached down in the opening and pulled up the window and wedged it with a folded up piece of cardboard for the...
Good question, NHTSA says turn the airbag off until the child is 12 (based upon average height/weight). But if you child is already there....? Safest thing would be to put in a 5 point harness, eh? That way there is no way the child could get that close to the airbag to endanger then during...
Re: ATF+4 suitable for \'92 - \'02 Viper Power Steering?
A few months ago my steering rack had to be replaced on my SRT/10, and the Viper Tech (who I trust completely) told me that DC says that factory fill is PS fluid, but refill after repair is with ATF. Granted, this is not the Gen 1/2 power...
The local auto parts store is telling me that the SRT/10 takes a M1-203 instead of the M1-204 of previous years. The M1-203 is the same diameter but a little longer (more volume?). Anybody know for sure? I made an attempt to find a filter application chart on the Mobil web site, but no luck....
Yeah, Keith said this was the first one he has heard about with this trouble. You could see that the rubber boot on the steering rack was split when you looked down from the top of the engine, but it had to be a bad seal which was causing all the fluid leakage.
Just crossed the 500 mile mark on my SRT/10 and was turning into the parking lot at work this morning and noticed the steering was becoming harder. Checked the fluid which was low, didn't notice any fluid under the car or in the engine bay, and called my Super Viper Tech and we agreed I should...
Sounds like what happened to me when I was at VOI last year. Ended up being the cable attached to the motor has a bad habit of breaking under tension. Had it fixed under warranty when I got back. While I was there I used the old folded up paper wedge trick to hold the window in the up position...
Re: Let\'s see those custom plates
Since the subject of denied plates came up, you should check out http://www.thesmokinggun.com/blueplate/blueplate.html for some hilarious examples of what to and not to put on a license plate. Seems like state governments can swing from an*l retentive to...
Re: Anybody try these truck struts?
The strut mounts on the left side of the trunk lid and requires drilling of three holes (two to mount the strut nuts, and a third to allow access to the inside of the trunk lid to put the flare nut on the inside.) The installation is really simple and looks...
Re: Anybody try these truck struts?
I believe these are the same struts that George Farris used to sell directly. I had one on my RT/10 since I bought it, and since I recently added the Mopar spoiler, the single strut could only slow the trunk from slamming shut. The solution is to buy another...
I agree, just got the Mopar spoiler (from JonB) and need to get it painted and mounted. Even though it takes drilling into the deck lid (ouch), I think it looks better and it maintains the original equipment on the car (if that matters to you).
I was considering adding headers this summer, but with your package do you see the headers providing much of a change with the S/C kit? In other words, would the S/C kit HP output be much different if I did or didn't have headers installed? I have heard it mentioned that in a forced air system...
Ed,
I really like your engine appearance! Can you give any sources of the SS braided steel hoses and connectors? Also I like the ruby red valve cover bolts you have. Where did those come from? Great looking job.
Jim
I have seen another one advertised: http://www.exoticcarrentaloftexas.com/
I know nothing of them, but their prices are on their web site so you can do some comparison shopping.
There were a couple of threads on this before. Take a look at: http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum14/HTML/005292.html http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum14/HTML/005394.html
Depending if you want to buy or build, there are some options in these topics.
I had the same problem accessing the Dilusi web site using Netscape - however Internet Explorer worked fine. Seems like the Dilusi site is Netscape unfriendly
I went down to the local Autozone to look for the Hyperwhite bulbs but all they carried was a Sylvania Superwhite 9005. The guy claimed that these were even brighter then the hyperwhite bulbs. They also cost more - about $24 each.
Has anyone used or heard about these bulbs?
Thanks,
Jim
