If cash wasn't the problem, would you give up your GTS/RT for a SRT-10?

I am fortunate to have one of each, and would never be able to decide which one to give up. I guess that is why I kept each one...

    Nooooooooo N'berg 7m11s

If you look at the list at Nürburgring lap times - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia you will see there are at least two "production" cars listed faster than the Viper ACR time. (I would not call them production cars...) and a whole slew of competition and racing cars with faster lap times.

You should throw this out to the North Texas email group. Shoot me more info and lets see if we can organize something.

Upgrade to 708 Lumpy Cam or aftermarket?

I put the cam in by releasing the motor mounts and angling the motor up slightly. Had to remove the cross-member (which requires a jack and the weight of the car to take off the tension on the cross-member), and remove the bolts from the AC condensor and lean it forward as much as possible (did...

    P0430 Code?

Well, last night the CEL came on again right before I got home... Guess I will give Mark J a call and see what he suggests.

    P0430 Code?

I wasn't running hard, but I wasn't loafing it either - I generally jump on it when I get a clear section of road, so I was definitely in the higher RPM ranges... :) I have an Actron CP9175 scanner which I used to read the code when I got home. Based on what you guys are saying, might be best to...

    P0430 Code?

My OBD-II Reader says catalytic converter operating below efficiency bank 2. 2009 ACR 980 miles with Belangers, hiflow cats, and stock exhaust. Came on after an evening drive. Past break in miles , so I am no babying the car anymore.... My quick search show a couple of possible causes: The...

    New ACR Clutch Problem

Had this same problem in my '09 with Belangers. Took it to the dealer who bled clutch but was told there was no air evident in the system. Ended up heat wrapping the clutch line where it is near the headers and moving it slightly away from the header by zip tying. No problems since.

Possible ebay scam on this '94 RT/10?

ABS first introduced in 2001. Obviously rims have been replaced with late Gen2 rims. His pics are too small to really make out any details.

OEM Exhaust vs. Belangers w/ sound clip

It is an '08, so no crossovers.

Im surprised this hasnt been posted here yet...

ViperX is correct, not an ACR. Missing front canards, rear spoiler is too narrow.

Motul RBF 600 DOT 4 vs. Valvoline Syn Power

I used the Valvoline SynPower at Tom's recommendation after I did his upgrade. Works great on the street, but on the last track day I did I boiled the brake fluid on the second session of the day. Switched to Motul at the track and all was good. As mentioned this is overkill and higher...

    Car vacuum suggestions?

I have the Rigid wall mount vacuum. Great because it is out of the way mounted on the wall and easily detached to carry around if out of reach of its hose. Sears has a Craftsman model that is similar.

    Lift bolted down?

My lift is bolted down. Unless you have an over-riding need to NOT bolt it down (like it must be moved occassionally on casters) why not bolt it down?

    Personalized liscense plates

Texas was going to expand the program last year with a public/private partnership with a company called My Plates LLC. They were allowing more letters than the current 6 and were also going to do up to a 10 year fee program but around double the current cost for personalized plates. They went...

Any fire sale priced Vipers out there at closing dealers?

Every transaction requires a seller and buyer agreement. If the offer to buy is too low, the seller says no and waits for another buyer. If there are no other buyers, then market price is set. This is not rocket science. No fault to someone looking for the best possible deal. If you want...

    Re-Use Flywheel bolts?

Doesn't red loctite require heat to remove? Blue loctite can be removed with hand tools?

    Re-Use Flywheel bolts?

I have heard it is OK to do it once. New bolts are not cheap. I assume Loctite is required if you re-use the bolts?

    '09 Graphite ACR Pics

Love that look! (So much in fact, that I got one coming myself from Woodhouse.) You must have the steering wheel turned slightly because I cannot see the red drivers stripe on the steering wheel?

    Anyone On Twitter?

A lot of people probably thought that about radio. Who is going it sit around and listen? Yet today, the Amber Alert program is responsible for over 400 successful child recoveries for a program which just broadcasts alerts into the air. I am not advocating Twitter. It is too young a technology...

    Anyone On Twitter?

You might think different if your child was abducted, but I guess if you don't hear about it, then it really didn't happen anyway. Selectivity and discrimination is the key, some information is better delivered as fast as possible. CEO's screwing up has no immediate value.

    garage storage- backing in?

I back it in and watch the reflection of the rear tire and ramp edge on the side of the car next to me. Of course, that only works if the car next to me is clean!
