I don't use twitter, but it can have its value. I read some Police Departments are using it to post immediate alerts of crimes or abductions, so I would not discount it as only for kids.
That IS passion! I like to think I treat others property better than my own, as you said but not all others hold to that philosophy. I assume your protectiveness extends to your home, your other property, your family and relatives... Do you hire out? :rambo:
I did this to my RT/10 about a year ago. Went with the JL Audio drop in center sub replacement. Took a while to find the right door speakers with a small enough crossover to mount safely inside the door - there is not a whole lot of room in there. Also, went with a four channel amp that I run ch...

Some do, some don't. Seems like it can't hurt to change the oil.
I have a Double Park DP-7 lift. Went to their home page and they recommend Citgo brand AW32 hydraulic oil, but there is no mention of any maintenance schedule for oil changes. Sent them an email, now I will see if they respond...
I bought a set of these and they work great for holding my drivers side mat in place. Other methods mentioned will work, but with the clips you can remove the mats easier.

Since there are a lot of lift owners out there and I have now had mine for about 4 years now, I was wondering if there is a recommended hydraulic oil change schedule? After all, we change our brake fluid periodically which is just another type of hydraulic fluid so it seems reasonable that the...
I know it is graphite but it is close to a silver/blue color combo. The graphite/blue is striking, but good thing you are on the west coast. You couldn't get away with that color combo in Dallas without being thought of as a Cowboy fan.
I remember that lift failure being discussed when I was researching to buy my four post lift. The lift failure mentioned previously was a Perfect Park lift. (I believe this is a US built lift.) From what I remember, a pulley on the cable system came loose and let the car drop onto it slide...
In defense of those who offer tech advice without owning a Viper: I know several guys who have worked on Vipers for years (Viper Techs included) who have never personally owned a Viper - ownership does not make one knowledgeable, it just shows you could afford the car.
I replaced the stock head unit with the same one Dave used: the Alpine CDA-9885, but I also replaced the factory amp in the trunk, so I did not deal with those issues.
Agree on the tire inspection. I had a valve stem completely blow out on my Yukon resulting in a complete flat. Stopped immediately and changed the tire to the spare. After getting home, Discount Tire dismounted it and inspected it and said the sidewalls were damaged. They replaced the tire...
I shot an email over to VCA questioning this issue and got this response:
Everyone will be going to CAAP. We have scheduled tours on Wednesday for those earlier arrivals on Tuesday. So if you are registered for the event you will be able to attend the CAAP tour.
I have read the threads dealing with problems with the Ron Davis radiators. I installed mine two years ago and have had no problems. It however is NOT the one with the integral oil cooler. Car has been much cooler in the highest heats of the Texas summer and also on the track. Just relaying my...
I know this isn't exactly an answer to your question, but is more a followup on the adjustment to the pedal height reply. I have moved my gas pedal height slightly by adjusting the bracket on the intake manifold that the other end of the cable attaches to under the hood. There is a single bolt...
I have a four post lift with jack trays, but rarely use the jack tray. I use the lift to raise the car, put four jack stands under the car and lower the car onto the jack stands. Very fast and easy way to get all four wheels off the ground.
Give Keith Laxson a call, I am sure he can give you an estimate over the phone. His shop is in Lewisville and is a supporter of the North Texas Viper Club.
