Jody:
It was very difficult for the traditional Harley owners prior to the Evolution motor (late 80s) to adapt to the changes not only in their bikes (smoother, more reliable, better designed and faster) but to the RUBs (rich urban bikers) who began buying them (doctors, lawyers, etc)...
Okay, have one: "Gimme Some Lovin'" - Spencer Davis Group.
Used in the soundtrack for Dennis Quaid's latest movie.
Winwood was 17 at the time. Incredible.
Wondering how many of you have a particular song or songs that you enjoy more when driving your SRT-10.
For me, it is No More Tears by Ozzy and/or Enter Sandman by Metallica.
Daniel:
The wheels and the gas cap are (so far) the only attributes that appeal to me on the Coupe. But I also agree with you; they did a great job on the vert, hard to imagine a coupe...unless as Bill indicates, one had the room and financial strength for both.
Joe:
In that photo, you look 30 years younger. That is impressive.
Personally, I never tire of entering the garage and seeing it. Opening the garage door and seeing it. Hearing it fire up, watching other people, walking away and looking back.
When I had my red SRT-10, I parked it in...
Rob:
Actually vehicle size needs merely increase because as the kids grow, you need room for back packs, friends, projects to and from school...more friends...athletic gear, musical instruments (ideally not a Tuba)...more friends...camping gear.
Car seats were a breeze.
An SRT-10 SUV would...
Mike:
Hmmm, can we extropolat that if you, therefore, had owned the car at 15, you would have lived in it?
I can see that. Makes sense.
But, yes, that was my point. It is likely curvilinear...very young and childless, you have a great deal of time. Then come 18+ years of child rearing...
I will not see the Coupe in person until April's International Auto Show.
From the photos, the only cosmetic appeal (changes) to me are the wheels and the gas cap.
I am not a fan of blue/white cars, and like NOMERCY, would have been more interested in a black car...or even a red car.
Aside...
Please respond only if you had serious plans to purchase the 2006 SRT-10 Coupe even after the announcement of the actual car (as outlined by Joe Houss).
(Thus, do not respond if you considered the Coupe until it was displayed, and are "now so disappointed that it does not..." (etc).*)

Steve:
(and others) several good points.
a. The length of the driving season favors southern California and most of Florida. Here in Atlanta, it is rare when you could not drive. Top down weather may disappear for a couple of months, but there is rarely snow.
b. Children limit the amount of...
Bill:
Really an easy car into which to pour money. Most mods are rather pricey. Wheels and suspension competes with S/C for priority.
You going to change rear end or has that been done?
Bill:
I agreed. Checked as well. Foose is an incredibly creative guy, but he does not design something that would look bling-less for the SRT-10.
BTW: it is great that you are getting so much enjoyment from your new car.
Steve:
The dealer obtained the fasteners and then misplaced them.
He retrieved them and then after murmured discussion with others, he asked if I had my VIN with me.
I asked why, and he explained "that key we made you last week...it may not work...think we made it wrong...would you like us to...
