    whinning sound after shifting

    I noticed that after I shift into mostly any gear, I hear a whinning sound that goes away after a couple of seconds. It almost sounds like a jet turbine. The car is a 99 RT/10 with 5300 miles on it. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks,

When I was test driving it, I thought I noticed that it tended to stay in one place, so when I saw it move the other day when I was stopped it concerned me somewhat.     I agree with the bounce method. I tried the wet dryer sheet method and the bugs came right off....it really amazed me. Not really sure how it works, but hey it does a wonderful job.
