    You should be able to get dome head allen screws and large diameter washers in stainless. They are unc thread. Think they might be used on some applications of Harley I got mine in the UK several years ago

    This looks like an excellent mod and I would like to apply it to my GTS, however is the bolt not meant to act under tension to clamp the inner steel shell tightly into the chassis bracket thereby eliminating any movement. If the inner steel shell can move it will eventually fret and wear away...

I usually find there is a vagueness as the piston transitions from up to down, maybe a degree or so and it is best to measure from a certain distance down the bore on the up stroke to the same distance on the down stroke, then...

    Did a bit of cleaning over the last few days... PICS!!!

    Useful tip from a fellow serial claybar polisher. Just claybar'd my van, and if you put the claybar in the microwave for about 20secs, its much easier to work with. Keep on polishing :) :2tu:

    My 99 has a little crop of similar pimples low down on the drivers door and nowhere else, they just stay the same and dont ooze ! But I did have a 911 painted years ago. An excellent paintjob, but within a year the car was a mess of pimples on every upward facing surface. They would increase...
