    Viper Recall

Paul, thanks for beating your head against that Chrysler UK brick wall, congratulations on your persistence, commiserations on the remarkable lack of response, to what is at heart a safety recall and just as important in the UK as it is in the US. Leaving aside Chrysler UK's total disinterest...

    hanging idle . .what gives

Seems to happen on mine occasionally, especially when really hot, think I remember a post about restricting the pipe to the idle valve, but havn't searched. Its a common experience on lots of vipers.

    Green or Red EBCs???!?!?

Reds on the front, greens on the back. A couple of really heavy brake applications in a row will see greens on the front fade out. I use the red fronts and don't find the dust that much worse than the greens. Having said all that I'm going to change to stoptech brakes this winter !

    Spring Compressor

Jeff, one and a quarter turns is just right for me, strikes a good compromise for road use. Once the going gets a bit faster, I find the entire suspension setup a bit on the soft side, buts then thats partly the spring rates too. The std spring rates and adjusted Konis work quite well on a mix...

    lowering set up(((((HELP)))))

jp, don't you need to have the weight on the wheels to compress the suspension so that the bushes can be tightened up in the right place, ie, with no rotational load at the desired ride height.

    Spring Compressor

I did this recently, heres a link to my post http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum14/HTML/014706.html The spring comp in the picture looks fine, in fact the one I used was a much cheaper more basic set. They worked fine, but just remember that those compressed springs store a lot of potential...

Quaife 33G HD 6-Speed Sequential Gearbox

lost 2nd gear, any hints on where to look?

Tom, this can be a pain but should come out quite easily. I've tried one which wouldn't budge and another which popped out easily. Just push in the little split plastic ring (white I think ) as far as it will go and pull the clutch pipe out. It is self sealing and won't lose any fluid. You don't...

    Front sway bar

Just unbolt the u bolts from the chassis and the links from the wishbones, be careful there, they are into the wishbone on a taper I think and those wishbones crack easily. Think you will find the handling a bit unbalanced !

Standard Konis are adjustable, I've done it, its good

Re: Standard Konis are adjustable, I\'ve done it, its good Devil, be careful about the max stting, ie, one and three quarter turns, the rebound damping is very strong at this level and may actually be a little to heavy for the standard springs. Try my one and a quarter setting first and see how...

    Roe vs Cragin SC??

Been involved to a small extent in the fitting of one of the Sean Roe superchargers. Its a very neat simple installation. The inlet manifold is a CNC machined work of art. The instructions are clear and concise and overall it is very much a DIY prospect. There are a few issues with fueling and...

Standard Konis are adjustable, I've done it, its good

Re: Standard Konis are adjustable, I\'ve done it, its good Ride Quality is great, harder yes, but feels more "sporty" definitely not a gut buster, just a better controlled suspension.

Taking Orders on Twin Supercharger System

I gave this kit a really thorough lookover at VOI, unfortunately didn't get a drive Dan but I was sufficiently impressed to place my order, very nicely engineered with a lot of attention paid to the fuel system and ignition. I believe I am numero uno on the order list.

Standard Konis are adjustable, I've done it, its good

Re: Standard Konis are adjustable, I\'ve done it, its good Neil, we'll get the battleship sorted out for next season, take a day some time and start working on it, reckon if we do a side each, half a day should sort it out. Until then there is a whole winter of polishing ahead
