    Good advice indeed! I think ported/polished head and cam (with a set of headers to complete my exhaust) plus a great tune, could get me close to 600rwhp and if I ever wanted to, I could slap a Paxton or Roe on top of that.. Thanks for solid advice!

    Call Erik at EMI Racing. He is regardes as the best in the business and have a solution between stock and Penske/Moton $$. If you have ACR (Koni or Dynamics) he can reburbish them, improve them and revalve them to your liking. Send greetings from another CA B/W GTS!

    I've heard the same thing about Aldan.. borderline dangerous, that's how bad they are. Call Erik Messley at EMI Racing (in Huntington Beach, CA) to discuss alternatives. Tell him his b/w 96 buddy sent you! If nothing else, go Penske, although you're look at $3-$4k.

    Do 3.55 gears really lower indicated HP?

    HP = rpm x tq)/5250 You might get less rpm but more tq to the ground but the hp would be the same (with no changes). There is only a slight loss due to increased friction of the 3:55 ring.

    Now that is aggressive! 2 years for me is about 2,000 miles.. I think I would like to get 5-6 years/5-6,000 miles at the very least before I experience excessive/uneven tire wear. I do agree with you about tires getting old before wearing out. My previous had more than 1/2 left in them...

    Ha ha.. Nicely said! Thought BW96snake gave it away but you're right, that doesn't limit it to a GTS... I should have said: This is for a 96 GTS, oh.. it's for a Dodge Viper, 1996 GTS! ;) My ACR shocks are Dynamics, will that have an impact on the alignment specs compared to Koni ACRs...
