New pads? Fresh brake fluid?
Don't know anything about a "clip". Remove the two allen head caliper bolts. Put a rag on the upper a-arm and lay the caliper on the a-arm. Take the old rotor off, put the new one on. Replace the caliper and torque the bolts to 80 ft/lbs. Lather, rinse, repeat.
This area met the Canada corner tire wall at Road America. It's hard to see but there are black scuff marks and tears in the clear bra. The impact pushed the headlamp assembly in and cracked the fender. I cut away the damaged clear bra and.....there is not one mark on the paint underneath even...
Crude, simple, but very effective. I was able to R&R the tranny on my own using this setup. Tranny sits on it perfectly balanced. Front goes under the last spine segment and then lag screw through the top of the tranny mount holes into the 2x4's. It's bolted to the jack pad with enough play...
By using a high tech device called a long thin wooden stick. :D I used a 6" wooden q-tip. Stick it in the spark plug hole and feel the piston rise and go past TDC. Back it up a bit to seat the rings and wedge the breaker bar. Then cross your fingers that you got the compression stroke. :D...

I have a few pics that may help. If you can see the top of the intake ports on the stock head, they have a lot of casting flash. The Striker head does not. Also look for a stamped serial number and the Striker logo. The deck surface of the head is much thicker than the stocker.
Stock...
It was in the same segment where this drunk French dude was following Justin Bell around trying to get on camera. Justin called him a French parasite and then went on to say this is what happens when cousins marry. :rolaugh:
Not sure I'd go so far as to call it a dumb mistake especially given the number of times it's happened to people. You are correct though, it only happens once. :D Learned my lesson years ago changing oil on my old Oldsmopile.
Same with my '09. Bought an Optima red top through the VCA special a couple years ago. Didn't install it until this spring. Should have installed it right away because it's much better than the stocker. Noticed the difference right away. Just because the stocker may last 5 to 10 years...
