Hey all,
Thought I'd make note that the Viper and I enjoyed a nice long Christmas Holiday with no issues whatsoever. She snorted a little water on Christmas eve and threw a check engine light, but it went out Christmas day and passed the PA emissions and safety inspections with no problems...
Hey all,
Just wanted to shout out a Merry Christmas to my newest friends over here at the Viper forums. I've got the Viper all loaded up with Christmas goodies for the trip from my worksite in Ohio to my home in PA. I'll actually be driving out this afternoon/evening to avoid inclement...
I'm afraid it's not for sale - for now I plan on keeping all the original parts - just as the previous owner did - in the event that I ever need/want to resell it.
Now, if I end up repainting the car and replacing the entire interior, then I'll consider selling off the parts.
Sorry Austin...
Measure a real license plate and divide by 18"? *shrug*
The biggest problem I've seen is that just because you set the size of an image (in Photoshop, for example) it may still not print that exact same size. As Photoshop assigns the pixel count, the printer might interpret it's own pixel...
I was gonna say it looks very similar to the dealership in Chicago that's had a number of Vipers for sale... I guess him being from Texas though makes that unlikely.
Congrats on the find! Dealerships are having trouble selling Vipers because they purchased them when the market was much...
Alright cool. I'm pretty sure my dealership has Dodge keys too (they're a Chrysler/Jeep dealership, but used to have a Dodge sister dealership until they went out of business...)
Thanks.
While swapping out my Cognac steering wheel with a black one, I accidentally broke the ring that runs around the top of my Viper key (left it in the ignition - d'oh!)
I've already ordered a replacement from the Viper Store (*chuckles* at the $45 dollar price...) but started to wonder if I...
I know it's not. I was actually surprised it wasn't higher.
How can you do it without a lift? If I just jack up the rear of the car then the fluid would shift inside the unit. I understand there's no "pumpkin cover" - it has to be siphoned (sp?) out...
Jeff
It might make you all happy to know that upon acquiring my 2000 GTS, I immediately sat and read through the owners manual, cover-to-cover.
I noticed towards the back cover that Dodge recommends replacing the differential oil every 22,500 miles for REGULAR usage - even more frequently for...
Your issue will be finding a printer with really good resolution. You need a REALLY high DPI to get the tiny detail needed for letters and logos.
I have a Testors decal making kit which I bought from a hobby shop. I'll be honest - I've never used it. But "some day..."
It comes with...
Carfax is only as good as the information it's given. If a car is wrecked and no police report is issued, and the guy has his friend bubba fix it out in back of his double-wide, Carfax has NO way of knowing.
Now, the mileage report of 12K plus in March leads me to think that it's gotta be at...
The second one does - thanks. I dunno - it really kinda mucks up the body lines of the car...
Dunno - I'll have to think about it. Thanks so much!!
Jeff
I give it 6 more months of this economic depression. If things don't improve by next summer, then by summer's end you'll see 20K Vipers, 2002 and older. I've already seen them as low as 31, 32 for 90's models. People will start getting desperate and scared.
Jeff
*confused*...
I thought coupes didn't come back until 08... Okay - someone educate me here. How is this an 06?
**EDIT** Alright, never mind... 2006 was the first year. How the hell did I have that factoid wrong?...
Alright - go ahead... :bonker:
Yeah the name calling is kinda pointless - can't we present an argument without just insulting each other? I stopped doing that in High School.
HOWEVER, I'm glad he raised the argument on the topic, because I too began purchasing Viper magazine from newsstands (actually had one bookstore in...
Lol - Couldn't think of a better term for it, and I figured it'd get some attention.
The previous owner of my Viper informed me that he has the spoiler that bolts into the factory locations behind the license plate. The most similar one I could find is the "GTS Adjustable Spoiler" from...
Re: Weigh In: What you think About This Snakeskin Green Coupe with Matching Asanti Wh
Geez - they bought $5,000 wheels and gave up on the car in less than 2,000 miles?? There's a die-hard auto enthusiast for ya...
Yeah well then you pull my stunt...
Check the weather, says sun, cold but clear.. Took the Viper out of storage, took it driving... Blizzard hits!!! AW CRAP!!
Jeff
Awww Leslie... *big hug* It'll be alright. :)
Where in Indiana are you? I'm just over here in Ohio, and I know what you mean. I haven't "put mine away," but it's in safe storage. Right now I'm looking out the window at sunny skies, knowing it's only 30-something degrees out, and that...
Any luck with insurance yet? Any plans of restoring/repairing? Is it a total loss? Kinda makes you wish they accidentally cut his head off with the roof, doesn't it?
*BUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZ* "Whoops!!"
Jeff
He didn't "bash" a member's Viper - he stated his opinion against a color. Funny how we're all quick to bitch about our right to buy guns but no one is allowed to speak freely - an ammendment to our constitution written BEFORE the right to bare arms.
And personally, insulting a color is a...
