    Finally finished changing the thermostat housing gaskets and thermostat, what a job. I didn't remove the intake or the transmission to do it and what a job.     Has anyone actually changed thermostats on a Gen 1 without taking off the intake manifold? Hints!!!

    The original stock 94 thermostat is stuck open. Do I put in a 180deg. or put back in the stock temperture? Also, pull the intake or do it on the car? Thanks in advance.

    I kept waiting and waiting and before I knew it 8 years had gone by on the original battery.I went down to the local Dodge dealer and put back in it exactly what I had taken out.Of course then again, the clutch hydraulic slave unit didn't last as long as the original battery.

    ratcheting noise?

    I've been listening to that noise for almost ten years. Had no luck trying to track it down. Was always told it was a throwout bearing assembly noise but I replaced that when I put the new clutch in and the noise didn't change one bit. Good luck with that one.

    How can i keep the A/C compressor on all the time. Its hot in Vegas

    Very simple, pull the vacuum line off the back of your passenger side valve cover, run hose to your vacuum can (I used a 2002 Jeep vacuum can) then run the hose back to the original vacuum line.I used hard plastic vacuum line but if I was to do it again I would use rubber vacuum hose.

    I've been running the vacuum can for about two years, in Southwest Florida. No problems and unlike others my air conditioning works great.
