Rod,
I remember trying to help you put your windows in at MIS in the infield when I was at the first Viper meet. We had a mutual acquaintance in Cindy Pelletier. Glad to hear you still have your original car.

How many original owner Gen 1 cars are still with us? I don't mean 10 mile odometer trailer queens.
For example I bought mine in May 94 and have 22,000 miles.
The Viper tech at my local dealership said '' the only way he changes thermostats on Gen 1 Vipers is to pull the transmission so you have the room to work''.
Finally finished changing the thermostat housing gaskets and thermostat, what a job. I didn't remove the intake or the transmission to do it and what a job. I cut one hose off and when I went to Dodge to replace it, $88.25, what a job. Yes I put a 180deg back in and so far the gauge runs to the...
The original stock 94 thermostat is stuck open. Do I put in a 180deg. or put back in the stock temperture? Also, pull the intake or do it on the car?
Thanks in advance.
I kept waiting and waiting and before I knew it 8 years had gone by on the original battery.I went down to the local Dodge dealer and put back in it exactly what I had taken out.Of course then again, the clutch hydraulic slave unit didn't last as long as the original battery.
I've been listening to that noise for almost ten years. Had no luck trying to track it down. Was always told it was a throwout bearing assembly noise but I replaced that when I put the new clutch in and the noise didn't change one bit.
Good luck with that one.
Very simple, pull the vacuum line off the back of your passenger side valve cover, run hose to your vacuum can (I used a 2002 Jeep vacuum can) then run the hose back to the original vacuum line.I used hard plastic vacuum line but if I was to do it again I would use rubber vacuum hose.
Mike, Sometimes I miss Andover but I tell you there's two things I just love about Florida 1. No front license plate.
2. No car inspections of any kind.
Ok, make it three things, no east wind at 4:00 oclock to drop the temperture from 80 to 40 degrees. Love all these warm summer...
I had no leaks with the upgraded 96 top and stock 94 windows but my V-Mania windows whistle wind noise and leak like crazy. They look good but thats it. I fixed the door leaks back in 1995 after reading a two page sheet some Viper owner from Florida had put out about waterproofing your Viper...
Re: Vipermania \"back orders\"....
Hi Biff,
About two months ago I asked for two more velcro receivers for my windshield post. If you sent them I never received them. As usual my windows look great.
