Did you test or swap fuse 15 in PDC since it supplies PCM and ASD?
Have you inspected O2 sensor wires to see if headers fried ghem...especially if car was sitting still while running?
No, it was covered in Viper Tech training manual.
Just call me...317 402 9013
It is a simple process, but if you have a bad connection or dying module (s), there a couple of extra steps...easily done per phone.
Sounds a little odd...but, who knows with these alarms.
Unless you are in NEED of an alarm, I would disable it to avoid getting stuck sometime. There is a factory procedure for the disconnect.
Hi, Tim. I already posted the answer in your "Battery" thread.
If you have questions, just call me 317 402 9013
It's much more efficient to talk than to text in my opinion. I can also send a photo of the hookup to you if you like.

Tim, there is a factory designated ground terminal used for jumping or charging the battery. This is found under the hood, on the driver's side...it is a threaded stud about 3/4 inch tall sticking UP out of the sill about 1.5 inches to the rear of the left front wheel's splash shield. The cars...
Does anyone remember a Michigan based Stars/Stripes/Statue Libery paint job on a Gen I Viper ? Primary color of hood was GTS Blue with a large Statue of Liberty on the hood. The rear half had red and white curving ("flowing") stripes as on our flag. Large white stars were scattered on sides of...
You need to check the hood and hatch switches. A tech with a wiTECH pod could be a big help. If you find that the switches are OK, you might want to think about the horn pad...particularly since it does not seem work when you push the button.
The horn going off randomly required the replacement...
Curious to know if you have checked the clutch fluid reservoir.
Last year I got a similar call...car had been sitting for a couple of years...brake pads allegedly stuck on rotors.
P.S. No such thing as "valet mode" on your Viper.
Real_Maverick, you are correct in that the Gen I P/S pulley is metal. Some keep it and just replace the bracket while some replace both as SneakyPete13 did.
On Gen II's, one should always replace both...before either OEM piece breaks.
P.S. please note that the 1996 R/T 10 (Gen 1.5 ) has the...
As I posted elsewhere...
"us Old Dudes here in Indiana are really looking forward to this event !!
I think the folks who became Viper owners after the demise of Viper Days have no idea what a great group of people attended, raced, or participated in some way. Nor do they have any clue as to the...
Also check the Schrader valve at the high and low pressure ports for a leak. This is easily done with the old spit test like we used on bicycle tires. If the valve leaks it will cause the spit (or soap film if you prefer) to bubble. If a leak is present, tighten the valve stem with the...
