I show up as dirty as possible to shows. A ViperACR with brake dust on the wheels at a show > clean & shiny. Only other car that grabs more attention is a friend's Gallardo. Nick- white out

Header questions........
+1 for getting them thermally coated. If it's within your budget, you could coat the entire exhaust. Keep cabin temps down and have the exhaust gasses flow more quickly. Nick- white out

Commercial car wash
That's what I usually do for a quick wash. But I dry & quick wax next to fuel pumps, under the overhang to keep the sun from wrecking my day. Never had an issue with gas station owners complaining. I usually spray down the wheels with cleaner prior to pulling into the wash. Nick- white out

I DD my '99 ACR. It's for sale, as I plan to DD a Murci. It's not about whether the car is DD'able, it's about what makes you happy and what you can reasonably live with.
