Does Viper Registry still have production numbers by year/color/stripes etc? I am putting my Sapphire/Silver on BAT and would like to include this info. My understanding is they made 86 Sapphire/Silver non ACR cars.
Why is this always such a heated topic. What blows me away even more is how a small group if owners seem to want to devalue their cars. I can see buyers doing this but not owners. They have VERY low production numbers, have always been iconic and good ones are getting harder and harder to...
Maybe it is time you guys move down here Steve. ;-) I know it would be hard leaving that garage mah hal you have but there are tons of car events down here. You can also get twice the house for the money. Besides, we miss you guys.
Are there any Viper shops in Longwood/Wekiva Springs (Orlando) area? I was on the train a few weeks ago and my wife said she saw like 4 Vipers outside of a shop in the Lake Mary area. Assuming it was a Viper or performance car shop. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good Viper...
I have to agree. Seems most people on this forum want to devalue their cars. That, and not everybody has the same definition of what a quality no story Viper really is. They are far and few apart today and not easy to find. Sure glad I am not looking to sell my <4000 mile Sapphire Silver...
I met a bunch of the Florida Viper club members at Johnnys Hideaway when we were on vacation down there and that looks like one of the Vipers that was parked in the lot. I hope it was not one of the members I met. I typed about 5 different msg's and erased each one before posting. I am at a...
I had both and loved them both. Viper is quicker than the C5 Z and obviously more exotic. Vette is more practical and there are a ton of them on the road. As a weekend car the Viper wins hands down. Value the Viper wins again. I think it will hold its value much better than the Vette down...
And my Viper just happens to need an oil change. I am set up to do it in my garage but it will be so much more enjoyable with he presence of good friends. I just have to find a place to pick up some 0-40. Now that should stir up some conversation/controversy. I have been using M1 10-30 up to...
Hi,
I have always loved the Viper. It is a quintessential American muscle car, not sophisticated but dazzling with its aggressive lines and sound.
Here are some questions and I would appreciate the insights:
Here are some things friends have said:
1) The car is not comfortable you can't drive...
Sounds like you may be in Philly area from driving down i76 (just guessing). If so contact Fran at RPM in Delaware, he s primarily a ls motor guy but dres Vipers too and is very good and trustworthy.
Look at the Porsche 993 market, actually a lot of older Porsche's are going through the roof right now, you have 993TTS going for >150 as well as 997 GT3's. Personally I think the Viper blows these cars away in every area. Not that the Viper is doing bad, they hold their value well but why...
I know I am reviving an old thread but I was curious how many miles I put on it since this thread and I am ashamed to say probably less than 1000. The good news is I am debating selling the Callaway so if it goes I will probably add another few 100 just this year.
How about you, take a look...
