    Aluminum open trailers - what are the choices?

    The Trailex has an open, probably around $5k, also about 900lbs. I use a 16ft bri-mar steel 1600 lbs. It does the job.

    A couple of guys at the last track day I went to mentioned they use a tire treatment to extend the life and grip of their tires. Anyone use one with any success? Thanks Ralph

    GTS Roof Cracking

    I have a '97 that had stress cracks in the corner of the roof by the rear hatch. It ended up that when the roof panel wasn't installed properly causing the cracks. the whole roof had to be removed, reapplied then painted. no problems ever since

    PDMRacing, For a track tire, not racing, would you reccomend the goodyear slicks, or stick to the hoosiers?

    Hoosier's, Goodyear, Michelin Cups? Last year I used Hoosier's, thought they performed great. Anyone else use Hoosier and swith to a tire they like better? It seemed that Goodyear did very well at the Runoffs this year.

    It seems that Goodyear was the tire to be on in the Runoffs this year. My track tire (Open track,not wheel to wheel) is the Hoosier, but after seeing a few of the races (GT1 for example),it seems that the Goodyear is tire for 2004. Anyone have the Goodyears and love them?

    Don't laugh, I saw a kid in Brooklyn, NY in a yellow GTS that had them. Complained that it was his second set,it seems that the first one "melted". Last I heard,the kid sold the Viper and picked up a SL600.

    Re: Please... I got the Autoform GTSR wing mounted to the frame, not the licence plae. Wide like on the FIA cars that race in Europe. Get a lot of compliments and well as noticable improvement in handling.
