Hey Guys, so my car is down for the count right now (believe the starter) I was talking to a guy a while back that was installing paxtons in SanJose... he also said he did mobile services for Vipers... this isn't Valaya that I'm talking about, but this guy is in the SanJose area also...
battery and alternator were both 2 months old... but yeah, hind site is 20/20 for sure.... thx Chuck, just seeing if anyone might have some suggestions now...
Hey guys... wondering if you can toss up some opinions on what damage may have been caused... initially, when cranking over it would attempt to start then shortly after a clicking sound would begin... well I was thinking the starter is out... but here's where it got ugly, my buddy and I...
Re: Crower RR\'s??
I have Crower 1.7's... box says do not exceed 5800RPM'S! lol... they were on the car when I bought it, and they were new... I will more than likely swap them out after I supercharge.
Re: Whats some funny comments you\'ve heard from passengers in your Viper?
if you've ever taken someone on an aggressive 1st gear to end of 4th gear run... you'll all recognize the gasping exhale at the end they let out! lol... as if they were holding their breath the entire time. lol!
I like the look of black center wheels... I kinda forced them on my blue/white for a while... until I realized it just didn't go so well... but I have Kinesis wheels... I had them powder coated black too... $200 piece... I've since had them chromed back $250.... cool thing about powder...
keep the front plate and mount in your trunk... if pulled over, explain the car is a show vehicle and you take it off for shows... "you definitely have it on for the little street use the vehicle gets" and you just came from a show last weekend... and didn't even realize you didn't put it...
I just posted a thread about potentially the same issue, I had the same problem with the car needing RPM's or it would die. It was in result of the battery being disconnected and then reconnected and the PCM being reset... Solution was to continue to start and let idle... and repeating this...
just keep your stock! I made the horrible mistake of prancing away with my nice 3:73's... now possibling paying to go back to stock when I do the power adder.
I would assume the price would stand for this regardless of the ratio you go with (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but when I put my 3:73's in at Valaya... I do believe it was in the neighborhood of $1100 out the door. I am actually switching to go with the 3:55's when I get the Roe...
I know! I'm looking in the couch cushions... and in the ash trays right now for funds lol... wife doesn't agree with the purchase... so I have to find funds top secretly. lol
first I went with was a Saleen S351... I had that for a couple years then finally reached the motherland... and sold it for my GTS... it's been a music video ever since :)

Wondering the same thing... prices seem waaay too good.
LITERALLY have a flat bed scheduled to come by and pick the Viper up and bring it to the shop to replace the "thought to be" fuel pump. My money was on it, and everyone that I talked to said FP. But MoparMan hit it... I disconnected the 3 packs on the PCM, and then let it sit for a good...
